Is there anything to do to expedite the process? New member here and my contract closed on 3/17. I know it takes a bit, but just was curious if there was anything I can do to help get my account set up faster.

As of late they are taking around 16 days from deed recording to process

Unfortunately no, but good news is you should be very soon! I think we had reports of contracts loading yesterday that deed recorded on the 14th. So hopefully only a few more days to a week for you.

Not Canadian, UK based, but I know when I bought Aulani that one title company requested that we use a notary plus apostille. We switched to a different company instead that allowed online notarisation.

Either way, needing an apostille a hassle and if it’s like the UK, takes a while!

I saw it left my dashboard today.
Makes me wonder how long before it shows up on the buyers dashboard.

Based on my recent experience buying and selling at the same time, I bet it shows up for the buyer when it disappears on your dashboard.

Turns out this was an international seller, and closing ended up being a bit of an ordeal. It took over a week for first contact from trcsinc.com and at that time we were on a cruise. As soon as we debarked we found a notary near the port and printed, notarized, and mailed the documents back (and transferred funds to escrow). Then it took over a week after that for the seller to do their part.

Definitely the slowest closing we've had. And while it was slow, trcsinc.com's communication (once it started) was excellent.

It appears the wait after deed recorded is also longer than other resorts. Might be another ROFR time

My AKV deed just recorded Do contracts with different UY for current members just show up on your dashboard or will they send me activation emails again because it's a new membership?

I just received an email for my new contract with the same use year, but in the past they just showed up.

Mine showed up on my dashboard. About 3 hours later I got a "Welcome Email" but no need for activation code etc.

Very! Mine was "Welcome Home to Disney Vacation Club". I wonder if it was because we had a different Home Resort/different UY.
