Is there anywhere on the Disney Wish where you can purchase cigars, or do you have to bring them along? I noticed it does not have the Meridian Lounge like some other ships.
They only have a select few onboard. It was easier for us to bring our own. I haven’t been on the Wish yet, but the smoking section looks like it is above the Cove Cafe. I hope it is as relaxing as the Meridian was!

It is not quite as relaxing as its open air but still nice as its a bit separate - just be aware of trying to light cigars/cigarettes when it can be breezy!
There is a second smoking area that few people knew about on our Wish cruise in May. While it is not near an open bar in the evening, we rarely saw anyone there day or night. The area I am talking about is the upstairs sundeck of the quiet cove (this is the deck 14 aft area that is mentioned on the DCL site), that a PP mentioned above. We also found this to be a great spot while in port for a cigar since it is partially covered so you don't have to roast in the sun.
As for purchasing cigars, do it before hand. There are lots of sites where you can get decent cigars for only a few bucks a stick. There is also an onboard gift you can get through the DCL site for 4 cigars for like $50, which if you only smoke when on vacation is perfectly fine.
Remember, Bic lighters are fine to bring with you on a plane but make sure you pack your cutter in your checked luggage.
I brought a few cigars and just smoked them on my verandah in the evenings. Never had any issues and didn’t bother anyone since the smoke drifted away quickly.

This was caused by a cigarette, while ash trays were still available on verandahs. There is a reason all cruise lines have banned smoking on verandahs. Not only is it extremely inconsiderate to other cruisers (this coming from a cigar smoker and former cigarette smoker, who detests when someone is smoking anything on their verandah) but it's dangerous. Not only is there a very hefty fine if you get caught, but if you choose to not listen and get caught a second time, they can remove you from the ship and blacklist you.
There are plenty of places to go and enjoy a cigar or cigarette.
