Here is a vote for the Rolling Meadows location--I think the basil chicken salad availability is an important issue, but even more importantly I think several of our out of town guests are staying closer to the one in Rolling Meadows and it will be an easier access without getting lost to get to and from that location for out of towners (IMHO).

Okay...I'm just catching up on the last 3 pages (or something like that) of this thread and if you all want GREAT pizza...then you HAVE to come to DeKalb....you know we ARE a college town so there HAS to be great pizza here!!!!! And let me tell ya!!!!! It's AWESOME...beats Gino's in my opinion!!!!! DG had some....I think she liked it!!!!

My attempts at getting a cheap Priceline hotel in Schaumburg, Elmhurst, or Itasca for Friday night failed me just now ...so I reserved the Wyndham Garden in Schaumburg the old fashioned way! They have a great weekend rate of $49 ($59 for 2 adults) - which is cancellable up until 4 p.m. on the 17th - so that's what I've done for now. That's a really nice hotel, Nancy. My mom and sister stayed there in November. Very nice and a good location. You're actually just about five minutes from me!!

Nancy, it is $59/night (I am told $56 with AAA). Most of us will have at least two people (so it's the same price as yours) and they even have King sized beds too for us to get (okay I love that). I stayed there last time and liked it enough to go back again... and most importantly I know exactly how to get there
