I just watched my tape from the Rosie show today and it was a great sneak peak at DCA. The whole show was her and the Drew Carey show cast members touring the park.

Tomorrow they are in WDW....set your VCR's. ;)

I saw the show this afternoon, and now I want to go to DCA even more!! Man, it's over a year away, and I'm REALLLLLY anxious!! The only ride that didn't appeal to me after seeing it was SuperStar Limo.....BOOOOORRRRIIIINNNNGGG!!! I did have one question about the Rapids ride (forgot the name, blame it on CRS). My roommate seems to think that they hand out ponchos at the beginning of each ride, and I say they are bought. Anyone know?? Either way, it looks SO cool, as does California Soaring!!! I can't wait for next May!!

Okay I am prejudice, I love Rosie! But I think this show did a SUPERIOR job to the special that they had with the cast of Spin City & Who's Line.
I can't wait for the next 5 days and WDW!

I agree Christa........ that SBC special was horrible. Rosie was much bette..... 9 more days to DCA/DL :D :D :D

Juliette...

To answer your question, they do not hand out ponchos at Grizzly River Run or any other ride at DCA. They do sell them although, at the shop just to the right of GRR for about $8 if I remember correctly. My fiance and I bought them for our trip through the rapids and they helped immensely to keep us mostly dry. Also, just to the left of GRR along the exit route there are a bank of lockers that can be used for the day but if you use them for 2 hrs or less they are free! Kinda cool to stick your valuables in while you're gettin' wet! It's a great ride, one of the most innovative "rapids" rides I've been on at any park.

Have fun!

I was at DCA last Thurs when they were there for the taping. Rosie, Drew and company. It was quite an eye opening experience. She was surrounded by an entourage the entire time. I was suprised that she didn't even try and make eye contact with anyone in the crowd. We were right there for the taping at the hot dog stand, animation building and all the rest on the Hollywood set. Everyone was pretty much just rushed along by security and producers. I think they did a pretty good job of showing DCA but I thought there was too much of Paradise Pier and Superstar Limo, ugh! It was one of the worst attractions. They should have shown the bread tour which has Rosie narrating.
