can anyone tell me about the character breakfasts at universal IOA or the portofino bay hotel we are planning our first trip in november and i need to start doing some planning, also which characters appear at these breakfasts

There is no character dinner. There is a character lunch, but that will be phased out shortly. The only character meal is a character dinner at PBH. Please click on the link to my signature for more information.
