Can you see the fireworks from these restaurants?

Café Orleans
Big Thunder Ranch BBQ
Carnation Café

We are thinking of getting a supper reservation late, and staying in the restaurant during the fireworks on the 4th. Since they are outdoor tables, can you see fireworks from them, or is the view blocked by buildings?

I don't think you'll have much of a view from any of the locations you've listed. There really aren't any fireworks viewing restaurants in DLR. I've read that a handful of the outdoor tables at Carthay Circle have a view of the fireworks.

Carnation Cafe's outdoor tables are in a little courtyard area between the Emporium and the indoor seating area. The restaurant's building will be in the way. There are indoor tables, which will not have any view.

For Big Thunder Ranch BBQ, my sense is that the canopies, the surrounding buildings, and the trees will be in the way.

The only one that might have a limited/obscured view is Cafe Orleans. I know that you can see some of the fireworks show from the Fantasmic Viewing Areas, which are over in that general area. There are a handful of indoor tables.

From any of the non-normal viewing locations, you'll miss out on parts of the show. Primarily, it's the effects on the castle, which can be a big part of the show.

The Fireworks at DL really are a show you have to see from Main St, otherwise they arent that spectacular.

You can get some degree of a view if you have an outdoor seat at Plaza Inn.

There is a limited view of the fireworks from the outdoor seating at Naples in DTD. It was a nice thing to see while we were eating our dessert, but we were primarily there for a nice dinner, not to see the fireworks. I suspect if the fireworks were your main priority, you would be disappointed.

None of the places you mentioned will offer a good view, if any at all. Even CO I would think would be obstructed by trees and umbrellas. You do get a decent view if you watch from F! but again, not great. I have been able to see well from Plaza Inn but the view there can be obstructed as well. We sat towards the middle of the outside dining area, we had problems seeing Tinkerbell and couldn't see Dumbo fly. But it was a decent view and it was nice to sit, eat a decent meal and enjoy the show.
