Can I extend a 2 day ticket to a 3 day while visiting?

Hi. I know I can do that at WDW but what about DL? Can I decide on my second day to extend to a 3 day?

In November 2023 we extended a 4 day park hopper into a 5 day park hopper after we had already entered the parks 3 days. We were staying at the DLH, and it was done for us at the front desk, with us only paying the difference between the price of the tickets.

You can if reservations are available for that day.

Yes, you can, so long as your current ticket has not yet expired (so on a two day pass you need to extend your passes before the end of your second day in the parks).

You can always upgrade a ticket but the issue is that there may not be reservations available for the day you want to go.

Question about this when using special pricing. Planning to go in Februray using the $50 kids tickets but for 3 days already and wanted to know if we could extend it to 4 days. There were only 3 days allowed on the website while booking. We are going to get parkhopper as well so I wanted to make sure that we could add a 4th day with parkhopper instead of having to pay again for it.

You will lose any discounts when adding an extra day to a discounted ticket because you pay the difference between what you paid and the current gate price of the ticket you want.

Just buy a second single day ticket for the 4th day.
