Heading down in June for a Mother daughter trip for DD’s 30th. I currently have BWV deluxe studio and a BC room reserved. I cannot decide between the two. The price difference is only about $100 so that doesn’t help. And not having SAB is also not a deal breaker either.

I have never stayed in a Boardwalk resort so I’m sure both will be great. Access to Epcot is the priority so kinda leaning towards BC but BWV is not that much further (and seems to be closer to HS.)

If you had to choose between the two options which would you do? HELP! :)

I would go with the BC room if you don't need SAB (as you indicated) for 1 simple reason. You will have (2) real Queen beds vs 1 Queen and a Queen Murphy bed, and the fold down single (smaller than a twin).

How many are in your party?

Just the two of us.

Good call on the 2 beds. She slept on the pull down in December at AoA. Maybe I should give her a real bed for her birthday trip. :)

I don’t think you could go wrong with either of these! They are by far my favorite resorts! The bed situation will be better at BC, but we did stay in a BWV studio in October and the Murphy bed was very comfortable. Beach Club is closer to Epcot and the Boardwalk has a lot to do right outside of the resort. Beach Club is always my first choice but I am a SAB fan! Have a wonderful trip!

I am very picky when it comes to beds, and although it is a murphy bed, it is quite comfortable, as comfortable as a regular queen bed IMHO

I have now also added in BWI into the mix.

So choices are
BWV - Deluxe Studio Resort View
BWI - Resort View
BC - Resort View

BWI is a bit more expensive than the other 2.

After looking at the beds for the BWV, I'm not too concerned with the pull down murphy bed. It was pretty comfortable at AoA. I mis-read the PP and thought it was just the pull down single. :) I'm straight now.

The murphy is a real mattress, it's no longer like the pullouts that they used to have.
Yes while it is a real mattress it is still not a replacement for a mattress on a bed. Just look at the thickness of the Murphy bed mattress compared to a bed mattress in the same room.

BWI and BC resort views will both have 2 queen size beds. Deluxe rooms at both are DVC AND Will have a different layout. If it only EPCOT which ever is cheaper unless you have a preference. If it is HS then BW Deluxe or BWI will have a big advantage for walking only… with BW deluxe being the closer side. Either is a short walk to EPCOT in the end.
Our choice is always BW we like the resort and the slide better although we just don’t stay at either for the resort it is for the convenience for us. There are far better themed resorts in our opinion.

I like that BC has the Market Place inside for a decent quick serve option. They have also historically had better quick serve options than the Boardwalk Deli (IMO). I know there will probably be a lot of eating done in EP, but if it happens to be raining out when you are there, the indoor quick serve option will be nice to have.

Of the three, I prefer BWV studio just in terms of noise levels - I find BWI, in particular, to be very loud and after multiple, noisy stays there over the years, I won't stay there any more. BC can also be noisy, IMHO, but it is slightly closer to EP and has better QS both at BC and a short walk to YC. If you want a full balcony, BC will be hit or miss. I think I would choose BWV.
