Has anyone been to brunch at The Boathouse? Allears menus show that at 11 on Sundays, there is 'entertainment,' a sing-along/dueling piano situation, but I don't see it listed on Disney's website. Anyone know if this is true or not?

Unless it's changed, yes. Sunday brunch is dueling pianos and is fabulous.

We were there about 3 weeks ago on Sunday. Yes, there was a duo piano type entertainment going on. We had no idea it was a thing when we booked and didn’t see any advertisement for it when we got there. We sat outside so we could hardly hear it. At first I thought it was just music they were playing over the speakers, we only found out it was an actual duo of piano players when we walked by on our way out. It seemed to me to be a couple of musicians singing and playing the piano, not much interaction with the audience. But again, I just saw a couple minutes of the show.

Cool! Just scored an 11am ADR on my HS day- I can't ride any of the Star Wars stuff, or anything with screens or drops or that goes around in circles, so it's usually a short day for me. I'll have brunch, go to HS to see a few shows and ride Toy Story, and then off to Epcot via Skyliner for F&W for dinner! (and maybe back for Fantasmic!)

So excited to hear about this! I was looking for something to do with my parents during our stay in November. This is the perfect idea. I have heard so much about the Boathouse, so it is one more reason to go. The brunch appears to be both Saturday and Sunday. I reserved through OpenTable and was able to select specifically the "Captain's Sing Along Brunch". There is either standard seating or "Captain's Sing Along Brunch" as an option when making the reservation.

Shoot! I just checked and there's no availability for the Captain's Sing Along brunch on the date I want through OpenTable. Guess I'll keep my Disney ADR and just hope that I can sit near the pianos. Single traveler, so not sure how this'll turn out, but fingers crossed!

I think you’ll be able to hear the pianos close to the check in station. Listen to see if you can hear them while waiting for the host/ess and if they sit you in an area where you can’t hear the music just ask if you can sit at the bar. HTH.

That sounds like fun. I wonder if other restaurants offer entertainment for brunch.

Honestly, traveling alone, I prefer to sit at the bar- bartenders are always chatty, as are other patrons. This doesn't happen sitting at a table. I think I'll just ask about sitting at the bar when I check in!

Do you think this would be an appropriate venue to propose to my boyfriend? I want something casual, but magical.

If yes, should I notify the staff?

Thank you princes and princesses for your thoughts and opinions!

If you can afford it, how about on the amphicar next to the boathouse for the proposal?
