We both use scooters. Are there CMs that will push you through the queue or do we have to skip these rides completely?

Yes, I'm one of those solo guests who've hit the "niceness" lottery a couple of times. However, on my next solo trip, as with every trip, I'm not counting on it. I'd like to experience "Pirates", but know that I may not. I'd feel terrible if I thought I was in any way responsible for a CM getting hurt, or even accidentally run over her foot! I'm thinking of asking if I can use the wheelchair as a rollator/walker (as long as it has squeeze brakes on the handles.I would not count on a CM pushing you through the queue—it can be a liability for them as you or the CM could be injured. That said, I’ve read a few reports where a did help out a solo guest by pushing them through the queue.
Unfortunately not.Could either of you propel a manual wheelchair using your feet and/or arms?
We both have personal ECVs that fold up, so they are very small so there is no room to transport a walker of any size unfortunately but I appreciate the suggestion!Alternatively might a rollator work for you while in lines? That would give you a place to sit and also help with stability, depending on your needs.
You may also want to consider buying LLMP to limit the amount of time you are physically in the lines.
Note that CMs also won’t really be able to help you transfer into ride vehicles, so if transferring is an issue you will need to think through those logistics as well.
Good luck!
I feel for you, it must be difficult at times but it sounds like you still make the best out of your situation. I guess that's all we can do, just embrace what we can do and not worry about the rest. This is a crazy idea but could you either rent 2 full size ECVs and leave your personal ones in the room, or roll the dice and bring your personal ones to the park and then rent ECVs in the park (ie park your personal device all day in Disney)? We both have personal ECVs that fold up, so they are very small so there is no room to transport a walker of any size unfortunately but I appreciate the suggestion!
It doesn't matter if it's a personal or Disney rented ECV in certain lines, the person would have to transfer into a manual WC to navigate the queue. CM's are not supposed to push the WC's with a guest in it through the queues, for safety reasons. They are not supposed to help with transferring to a ride vehicle either, beyond offering a steadying "hand" - meaning arm. Now will some? Yes, but they are not supposed to do so. Would bringing an able bodied person to the park with you to help be a possibility? You could do a rider swap. That person push one of you in a manual WC through the queue, then after that person rides, you switch. This is a crazy idea but could you either rent 2 full size ECVs and leave your personal ones in the room, or roll the dice and bring your personal ones to the park and then rent ECVs in the park (ie park your personal device all day in Disney)?
My idea was related to the idea of the rollator, as their personal ECVs are too small to carry them. The elevator at Pirates only goes from the exit up to ground level again. It's quite small and has limited manouvering room to get in and out. Thanks for responding. I guess I've never noticed CMs doing that for guests, was kinda hoping there would be some other option. I know Pirates has an elevator but I believe it's only used to exit the ride. Looks like we'll be limited on what rides we can do. Guess it's all a part of our "new normal".
IIRC, there is a type of beam the boats pass under, so you can't ride from the unload to the loading platform. Technically you could if you laid down on the seat/bench, but that's not allowed! If a CM tried it, it was grounds for termination, at least when I was a manager of the area. It has been awhile. The elevator at Pirates only goes from the exit up to ground level again. It's not possible to take the elevator to the exit and board there. After guests exit, the boats go thru a path that is just a little higher than the boats. So, someone could not get on the boat at the exit and then ride thru to the regular boarding area like you can on some attractions.

Wow, I wasn't aware of that. Thanks for clarifying. Definitely not an option. The elevator at Pirates only goes from the exit up to ground level again. It's quite small and has limited manouvering room to get in and out.
