Hello! We have reservations at Bonnet Creek for a 2 bedroom deluxe. Hubby and I were thinking about changing or 2 bedroom deluxe reservation to Presidential.

Has anyone stayed in both? Which did you prefer? We have requested Tower 3, which we have been told it has been recently renovated, so you have granite and flat screen TV's....but the Presidential suites look so nice, and seem to have a bit more room, with a bigger balcony. We plan on going to the parks in the morning and early afternoon, and spending time at the resort in the late afternoon evenings....so we were wondering if the Presidential would make our visit more enjoyable...or if a deluxe would suffice.

Thank you for any suggestions!! :)

We stayed in a 2 bed presidential last Thanksgiving. It was HUGE and so nice...much nicer than any Disney DVC villa we've ever stayed in. Honestly the price we paid was so incredible through VS that the presidential was a no-brainer looking to return over New Years 2014/15 and will definitely go presidential again. All the 2 bedroom presidentials are in tower 6 which is the newest bldg and by the pirate pool. Also has a walkway connecting to the new hotel property, Wyndham Grand. My husband used the gym there every day. To me it is totally worth the extra few bucks just based on the photos I've see of the deluxes. But only you know what works for your own budget and priorities. Enjoy whatever you decide!

Too me its just an up-sell item for a tiny bit of eye-candy. I don't consider paying extra for presidential unless I need those dates and it's the only thing available.

Now you may want to play extra to be guaranteed getting granite countertops. (Some of the non-presidentials have granite) or you want to be guaranteed a Tower 6 room location (there are also non-presidentials in tower 6 that you could get just by requesting it)

Some other benefits include stainless appliances instead of white ones and slightly nice decor.

It's sort of like you have an ice cream sundae and they say "would you like a presidential ice cream sundae? it comes with sugar-toasted almonds instead of peanuts. Only $100 more."

The allure of buying an "upgrade" to get "the best" is a powerful tool for marketers. Sometimes it may be worth it, but in this case I'm not sold. However, I'm more value driven than some.

We've always stayed in a presidential; a 1 bedroom ,a 3 bedroom and next a 4 bedroom.I too, have only seen pics of the deluxes and would consider them when a presidential isn't available. To me the price difference isn't much and worth it.
I enjoy the bose home theatre system over the tin sounding speakers from a tv and especially appreciate having the icemaker. The nice view from being higher up doesn't hurt either.

Hi, I have a question regarding the 3BR vs the 4Br presidential. Is the unit size much different or is it basically the same with just an extra bedroom? Thanks

The three bedroom presidential is 1,580 square feet in size. The four bedroom presidential is 2,205-2,510 square footage.
The three bedroom deluxe is 1503-1560 square feet. So a 4 bedroom is a good 600+ square feet bigger than a 3 bedroom.

As the previous poster wrote, they are bigger. There are 2 masters with Kings and ensuites and 2 bedrooms with 2 beds in each.Another bonus is 4 bathrooms as opposed to 2 for the 3 bedroom.Whenever we stayed on site at disney we've had a 2 bedroom villa at either AK or Wilderness lodge;this will feel like having 2 of them.
