BC is our favorite but with SAB being closed we're debating BWI. We're there for 5 nights next month, would you choose BW for $126 total more over a few nights or keep BC if it was your favorite? Or would you save $1,000 and stay at POR? Thanks!!

If a pool slide is important to you, the Luna Park pool slide at BW Resort is one of the best at WDW. Otherwise, I’d save the money and book POR. The PO pools have slides too.

It depends on what resort features are a focus. BC is still great with construction at SAB. Just know there will be construction noise during the day if you are wanting a resort nap window. It has several dining options available with out going outside if the weather is not working in your favor on a day.

The BWI is also great and it's Luna Park feature pool is open with a great Slide. There is no noisy construction work to bother you during the day. For $126 i would vote for the BWI. You still have easy access to Epcot and HS.

If you want to have $1,000 to spend on other things or put in your pocket then hit POR if you don't mind the bus or ride-shares to all parks.

I agree. It really depends on your priority. I stayed at all three resorts and BWI is my favorite of those three. The pool is great and the grounds are really nice.

I love the crescent lake resorts with YC being our favorite. But I’d probably lean towards BWI for the location. The ease in being able to access 2-parks with several modes of transportation is awesome. If you’re wanted to save money, and don’t mind the transportation options like @Dave006 mentioned, POR is a nice choice as well—love the grounds of POR! You might also price out Swolphin to see if there are any savings while staying in the crescent lake area. Love the pool there!

I guess it would depend on how much time you would normally spend at SAB and what else you'll be doing at the parks. Saving $1k is tempting. But trying BW will keep you in familiar environs. Plus you have a wide range of places to eat at BW or a short walk away.

We've stayed at BW and it was lovely. You're still in walking distance to EP and HS and the Boardwalk, itself, at night is really fun. The pool was great and the pool bar (Leaping Libations) was a nice oasis sometimes. Certainly, you can't go wrong with either, but it sounds like you like a little pool time, so....I'd go with BW.

I love YC and BC but there is no way I would stay at either with SAB out of commission. Between BWI and POR, it would really depend on a number of factors - do you want a balcony? how do you feel about resort locations? I love the location of BWI and the pool, but I find the hotel itself to be incredibly loud. The last time we stayed there, we could hear the plumbing echoing in our room as people were getting up early in the AM to get ready for their day (BWV is much quieter in our experience). I also do not like the QS dining options at BWI. POR is lovely and you could certainly use that $1000 on other vacation experiences including Minnie Vans to make transportation to the parks easier. When we want to stay in the EP area, we always also price out Swan/Dolphin as we typically get a "deluxe" resort at mod prices.

Depends on your park schedule and group makeup. I would not do POR because it is pet-friendly and we are super sensitive with allergies.
We love the BW/BC area as we can walk or boat to 2 parks. $1,000 is a LOT of money though...

Dump BC for sure. This isn’t a small construction project that can be ignored, it’s so big it’s even noticeable from the boat on the water because of how big the scrims are. It won’t feel like what you love.

Now, what are you after? As close to BC as it can be? That’s BWI. Saving some money because if you can’t have what you know you love maybe bank $1k for another time when you can? That’s POR. You’re basically familiar with the benefits of BWI because of your BC history, main differences to me were the walk to EP is a bit longer, QS situation is sad & TS only accessible via outside (it rained a lot when I did BWI a couple Mays back).

If you aren’t dedicated to the Disney Bubble I’d consider Swolphin to save money but be in EP area if there is availability at decent rates. Swan just finished a beautiful remodel and they have an awesome pool complex shared by all the hotels at Dolphin.

You do know that service dogs are allowed in any of the rooms? Just mentioning it for those who may not realize service dogs can be at any of the resorts. I’m currently putting in a hotel room in Waikiki with my service dog 😁. Just a general comment (not directed to you), if your allergies are bad, I’d always ask for a deep clean, noting in your reservations you have allergies.
