BLT Fire Alarm in the Wee Hours of 5/1 and Member Services

Reedy Creek is Disney so false alarm fines don’t apply to a Disney Resort. I do believe they have to follow NFPA codes and standards so they know within minutes if they’re dealing with a false alarm.
Good luck getting a licensed fire alarm tech to your place of business at 2am. A fireman has no clue how to reset the various systems that monitor old/new buildings. It’s up to the building owner to set the procedure.
Disney doesn’t inform DVC members because some will want compensation for standing in the parking lot at 2am because of a system fault.

To me, at least, these issues are much more about the moment at hand and the way the issue is handled in the moment and during the episode. There will always be those looking something in the way of compensation. Part of being in that business is dealing with those types of issues and people. At the end of the day, there is a safety issue of inform and direct that's no different than what's going on during the pandemic. Communications is the key. Communications is what their business is all about. Tell people what's going on, when it's safe to return (most importantly), and most people are pretty understanding that situations happen. Ignore them and the situation and the people, and you end up right here where we are. In this very thread. Talking about these very issues.
