Best restaurants for 10 year old boy's birthday

We'll be at disney for my son's 10th birthday and most likely spending the day at Hollywood studios and the evening is still open. I'm looking for a table service and counter service restaurant that will be the most fun and make a big deal out of a birthday. Any suggestions?

My DS 10 loves Sci-fi. They have great burgers and shakes. T-rex at DTD would also be a good choice and they love to make a big deal out of a birthday!

At 10 my son LOVED scifi. loved both the atmosphere and food. I loved it too! We tried 50s prime and he wasnt too keen on the antics. It made him nervous cause he thought the server would pick on him. Lol. For quick service at HS he also liked Pizza Planet cause of the arcade. I think he liked the pizza too. Lol.

Outside of HS, TRex at DTD was another one of my sons fave.

Primetime cafe is fun especially if you have a good server.

If youre anywhere near wilderness lodge, ive heard whispering canyon can be alot of fun on a birthday.

If he can stay up until 930 or 10 pm, check to see if yee haw bob is playing at the river roost at port orleans riverside. Youll have to show up at 745 or 800 pm to grab a table, and the show starts at 830 pm, but i can guarentee yee haw bob jackson will make your sons birthday memorable! Its fun, its free, and its the most G rated fun you'll ever have at a bar!

For birthdays, anniversies, honeymoons, and other celebrations,
no restaurant/resort is that much better than another.

1) Acknowledgment is a matter of the CM's personal initiative.
. . . depends upon how much they like you as a guest
. . . depends if they feel like doing anything special today
. . . depends upon the phase of the moon
2) CM's can do a lot, or they can do nothing at all - they have immense control.
. . . they are under no obligation to give goodies
. . . they are under no obligation to even acknowledge your special day
. . . but, they can go way overboard and give lots of gifts to a guest
3) The CM's have a lot of leeway of things to do or not do for you if they wish
4) Have anniversary-birthday-celebration-honeymoon on the ressie and ADR.
5) Some of the things a CM can do for free are
. . . table with Mickey confetti
. . . best table location
. . . special personalized menu
. . . character-autographed birthday cards
. . . balloons
. . . wine or champagne or Shirley Temples
. . . appetizers or desserts
. . . cakes
. . . cupcake with candle (almost always available for the asking)
. . . placemats autographed by characters
. . . free appy or free dessert
. . . room full of balloons and/or flowers
. . . fruit basket or wine basket in hotel room
7) If you want something special (cakes, etc) buy them instead of hoping for them.

NOTE: Hundreds or even thousands of folks are celebrating everyday
at WDW. If they gave an item to all of them it would be too much time
and too much money.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone. I think I'm going to go with the Sci-Fi Drive in for lunch and maybe the Coral Reef for dinner. I think they'll be the most fun and interesting for him (and convenient for our touring plan that day). We may have to try T-Rex another day of the week. With three boys, I'm sure that would be a big hit.

As for "making a big deal our of a birthday" -- I did not mean that I wanted or expected anything free or above the ordinary. My son enjoys going out to dinner for his birthday and loves the usual Applebees sing-and-clap happy birthday song. That's all I meant. I'm just looking for a festive atmosphere.
