Best places to eat/restaurants @Universal including Citywalk

Hi all just trying to understand what are the best places to eat at Universal Orlando IoA and Citywalk, from restaurants to quick service.

We like the theme and menu at Toothsome Chocolate Emporium. For inside the parks, we go to Finnegan and Mythos.

It would help to know what you're interested in. For my family, who likes international cuisine of various types - or at least, unique stuff - table service favorites include Mythos (IOA), Confisco Grille (IOA), Cowfish (CW), Toothsome Chocolate Emporium (CW), and Strong Water Tavern (Sapphire Falls resort).

CS isn't super strong at Universal, but we've especially enjoyed Fire-Eater's Grill (IOA), Leaky Cauldron and Three Broomsticks (HP Worlds in IOA/USF), and Thunder Falls Terrace (IOA). Bumblebee Man's Taco Truck in Simpsons Land at USF is decent too, although the tacos seem to take an infernal amount of time to make. We really wanted to like Minion Cafe (USF) because the menu was so clever, but were disappointed overall at the small portion sizes (it was as if every meal was intended only to feed a child) and inexplicably bland, poorly-executed entrees we received.

My favorites are cowfish and vivo for sit-down

Personally don't think there's any sit down places worth in the park. Mythos used to be pretty good. Severely gone downhill.

Quick service at universal is severely lacking compared to Disney. The only place I can recommend is the food court in the Simpsons.

Red oven pizza was solid for counter service. Another vote here for Thundering Falls terrace. Not fancy food but decent portions

In the parks, Confisco Grille is excellent in IOA for sit down, in the Studios Finnegans has improved dramatically in recent years and Lombards has a lovely menu, all sit down options.

Both parks have some nice counter service options. Thunder Falls, Blondie`s and Wimpy`s in IOA are all decent, try Green Eggs and Ham for a quick snack too. Many also like the 3 Broomsticks in Potter.

Studios have the Minions restaurant but we haven`t tried it yet, Today Cafe has some lovely options, Leaky Cauldron gets very good reviews and although some like Simpsons, it`s not for us, very disappointing.

Citywalk has some lovely options and some very poor ones too. We like Vivo more than the others, but Margaritaville has also got so much better over the last few years, not fancy but nice and lots of fun. NBC has some good burgers as does Cowfish, but their sushi is dreadful and completely overrated.

We avoid Bubba Gump like the plague.

The Hot Dog place gets very good reviews as does Red Oven Pizza and Bread Box is lovely too.

There really are plenty of good options for both counter and table service around and don`t forget the hotels, they all have something nice to offer.

I can recommend: Today show cafe. NBC sports bar. Also the Bread box. I also LIke Leaky Cauldron and the Minions cafe.
