Best breakfast BUFFET for last day that is NOT inside a park? (Ideally walking distance from The Swan)

For some reason I thought Toppolino's was a buffet, but I just realized I was mistaken.

Our last day we don't need to leave for the airport until late afternoon. I thought we could sleep in, have a nice big brunch buffet, hang by the pool, then uber out.

I know Boma is a breakfast buffet - do we want to deal with Ubering over on our checkout day? Any other recommendations that are not inside a park? We are staying at The Swan. Is the Ale & Compass breakfast buffet a good option? My kids are teens so the character visits don't matter so much to them.

If you’re staying at The Swan then the new Rosa Mexicano restaurant that’s recently opened there does a buffet breakfast. Ale & Compass is good and one of my faves for their breakfast menu but it’s not a traditional buffet in the sense of eggs and bacon etc. It’s more accompaniments to go with your entree like parfait, pastries and fruit but it’s still good value for what you get. Cape May at the Beach Club has an excellent buffet breakfast too but it’s character so it sounds like that isn’t what you’re looking for but I wouldn’t rule it out for that reason alone.

Another vote for Ale & Compass, but as people have said, the buffet isn't traditional. You choose an entree from the menu and then the buffet is fruit, muffins, yogurt parfait, other small things and then biscuits and gravy.

I don't know that A&C would appeal that much to younger kids, but since you've teens, might be great.

Its atmosphere seems geared more toward pre-teens, teens and adults to me. Dark neutral colors and elegant dinnerware. No gummy bears on the buffet, for instance, my favorite "breaksert" at 1900 Park Fare. 😁

The Tratt is somewhat livelier and deelish, even though not a buffet. We're hoping it's back to family-style with individual entrees character breakfast again before much longer. It was a rare place to meet princes, Ariel's Eric and Flynn Rider. Flynn was SUCH fun.

For that matter, it's about time for the return of 1900 PF. C'mon, Disney. Get those character auditions to finding me my Mad Hatter.

I want to 1900PF to come back, also. Sadly, the rumor mill is that they're going to be refurbing that restaurant in the bigger GF lobby refurb, so it may not reopen for a while.

We always loved the breakfast buffet at The Wave at the Contemporary, but I don't know if the restaurant that replaced it has one

Ale and Compass is good, as long as you know it is not a full buffet like Cape May is. You order an entree then you can add the buffet on as an extra.

Since you're at the Swan I would honestly just do Rosa Mexicano's breakfast, they have two different buffet offerings, one of which is a continental buffet situation very similar to Ale & Compass but then they have the full buffet for slightly more that includes those items and an actual buffet spread, unlike A&C. We were comparing the two the other day for our own trip and decided on that.

We are not big on buffets, but, we too liked The Wave on our last day. It seemed to be a little more upscale than most buffets.

We Uber a fair amount around WDW and honestly, it is the easiest mode of travel available.
