Best 2 Bedroom / Best 2 Bedroom Value / Best Location at WDW

Ah, understood. Good luck getting what you want at 7 months - AKV shouldn’t be so hard, nor SSR.
Thanks! I am going to play around with the options. My main goal of this thread was to see if I should take the plunge and borrow to book CCV. As of right now I dont think it's the best choice. I really wish borrowing and banking wasn't permanent.

Unpopular opinion, but SSR is amazing lol We stayed there with my 7 month old and it was great. Our bus experience was flawless. We stayed in the Grandstand, so first to pick up and first to drop off. Our room was right by the bus stop, and from what I could tell they were always prompt for all the parks. The pools are great and the staff is soooo kind! Taking the boat to DS was fun as well. SSR scores even more points if you rent a car, took like 9 mins from our room to our parking spot in Epcot, plus you can park right outside your building :) The rooms are nice, and out of all the budget friendly 2 bedrooms, SSR is currently the only one with a murphy bed and not a pull out couch. BWV would be nice, but it will be extremely hard to get a 2 bedroom since they are all lock offs I believe.

Edit: If points aren't an issue, RIV 10000%. Skyliner is money with a stroller since you do not have to collapse it. My little guy napped from Epcot to Primo Piatto where we got lunch. He slept almost the whole time since I did not have to remove him. Also, it has its own dedicated bus stop to MK and AK. Poly shares with GF. BLT and BRV/CCV share a bus. BCV and Yacht Club share, sometimes even with BWV. It's madness lol The bus sharing at Deluxe Resorts truly is mind boggling lol
Before DVC the Skyliner is what made us love Pop Century. We were actually really happy in that tiny lil studio at Pop. I used UT to request a room and we were like 100 steps from the Skyliner line it was great.

We have a alot of points but not alot of unrestricted ones unfortunately. I think if I had more I would 100% stay at RIV. Disney sure knew what they were doing by creating those restrictions.

I mean… if point cost were no object the best 2 bedroom would be the Poly Bungalow - but the amount of points it costs are eye-poppingly huge.

I think it depends on what type of trip you want. If you’re trying to do all 4 parks in 5 days then you probably will not spend much time at the resort. So the resort amenities may not matter as much. But here would be my choices for each scenario:

BCV: if you want a memorable pool day and good park access (Epcot and HS). Good points chart.

BWV: if pool doesn’t matter as much and you want good park access then BWV should feel more chill than BCV.

AKV: if you want to sleep in or watch the animals during the day (you won’t see much at night, but it is very peaceful). Great points chart but if you plan to rope drop or travel to and from the parks at peak times the buses will be full and a hassle. Off peak times of day the buses are more chill and not so hectic. Also a great location if you are likely to eat at your hotel. The rooms should be newly renovated by then.

BLT: if you want to be able to walk to/from MK. If you think you will want to eat at other monorail loop resorts (Poly, GF).

SSR: if you don’t mind driving to/from the parks. If you don’t mind having a spread out resort (may need to walk a ways to restaurant or pool) the rooms are very nice and spacious.

One day we will stay in a bungalow.

I think based on yours and everyones opinions I have decided to give BCV a shot at 7 months. Fingers crossed.

We have stayed at a few resorts in a two-bedroom unit (usually book a one-bedroom, but sometimes need the extra space). OKW and BRV are my personal favorites, but the others have a lot to recommend them as well. We try to determine where we will be spending most of our time to make “commuting” easier if we won’t have a car.

  1. OKW - Very large rooms and ability to park outside your building if you’ll have a car. No Murphy beds. Must use buses to travel to parks, but can use watercraft to travel to DS. Great points chart.
  2. BLT - The theming is rather basic, but the building is under renovation right now. It is very convenient to have an extra full bathroom. Location is awesome. The shops and restaurant are over at the CR, but it’s a relatively quick walk. The pool is rather basic IMO, but adequate.
  3. RR - Beautiful resort. Units are beautifully furnished and are a good size. Transportation to two parks is fun and easy. Restaurants are terrific, as is the pool area. Lovely grounds, but high points chart.
  4. BCV - Convenient to two parks without using a bus. Lots of restaurant options close by. SAB is popular, especially for the little ones.
  5. BRV - Recent and well-done renovation. Building separate from main building (with its own smaller, but comfortable lobby), but a short walk and also close to bus transportation. Very nice pools. Great restaurant options. Reasonable points chart.

Keep in mind that CCV’s points charts are just a tiny bit higher than BWV/BCV because it was built on BRV’s charts. Only OKW will be cheaper.

You would be surprised that AKL standard is actually the points leader with OKW and standard at BWV & SSR.

I actually find that to be the case for the majority of the time I have looked.

Not sure when in February OP is going but for 2/14/26 - 2/21/26 a 2 bedroom is:
AKL standard 283
SSR Standard 286
OKW 294
BWV standard 298 (unlikely to be available)

CCV is 348 during that period.

Very close in the dates. I think BCV has a reasonable point chart and gives us best bang for our point on this particular trip. I have never stepped foot in that area of WDW though. I will be at BWV next month so that should help me solidify our choice.

Very helpful. :) That extra bathroom is pretty awesome. I think BCV has won us over for the proximity to 2 parks.

Yes as @CarolynFH stated CCV is close to BRV along with BCV & BWV Pool/Garden.

It is a great location and because it has dedicated 2 bedrooms it should be easier to book than BWV with people rushing to grab studios in the morning.

While it does share bus service to two parks you can keep the stroller in tact for two of them (walk to Epcot for both but hop on skyliner to get to HS)

Hoping I can get it. I was so so close to borrowing for CCV. But I just know I will regret borrowing. Had I been on the ball at 7 months for our 08/29 trip I could have modified and freed up my CCV points, but I dropped the ball and Id have to stay in a 1 bed at OKV or SSR for that trip. Studios are sold out every resort on MM night 09/01.

DH only wants to stay 1 bed now. So I gave in and said fine I'll book a 1 bed and cancel our stdio at CCV in Aug/Sept. I am still short points to book at 11 months CCV if I do that. GRRRR. I knew I would end up coming to point where I would want more WDW points.

That changes things dramatically as you won’t even be able to book your home resort if you wanted to.

BRV, BWV & BCV will allow you to sleep the 5 plus infant but you would have to bring an air mattress for the 10 year old.

I would seriously consider BLT for the walk ability to MK & Monorail to Epcot along with 2 bathrooms. The refurbishment should be completed by the time you go so now sofa beds for the adults.

AKL kidani will be in the middle of a refurbishment but they would also have the second bathroom.

Poly also has 2 bathrooms but when I looked for my Spring Break trip a 2 BR at BLT was 10 points cheaper than a 1 bedroom at PIT.

If you don’t need the kitchen and laundry (who are we kidding with a 1 year old :) ) maybe 2 longhouse studios and ask to be connected?

We have gotten addicted to doing laundry while on vacation 🤣. We could actually do without a full kitchen probably.

I will keep an eye out following up to 7 months. Does being on 2 different devices work? I wonder if me and DH both be logged in and can try for BCV and the he tries for BLT and the first to actually book wins.

If the studios had laundry I'd barely ever book anything higher than a 1BR. I'm starting to want 1BR+ more because my partner tries to do our laundry when we get back from the parks, it sucks when she goes down to find the machine is taken or the dryers are so weak she has to dry it multiple times at like 11 at night.

Going home with almost all clean clothes is amazing. I wouldn’t see myself walking down to the machines. Id say I would but then get way too lazy to do it.
