Bell services hold luggage overnight?

We are staying at poly for 11 days. We are driving and bringing cases of water, and as you can imagine quite a few pieces of luggage. (All which will fit on 1 cart). We added a night at beginning but couldn’t get poly and are at beach club. I don’t want to cart all of our stuff to room for 1 night- but don’t want it sitting in the hot car for 24 hours either. So if I drive straight to poly and drop off our luggage, will they hold it until the next day and when we get our room just bring it up then?

Obviously, you'll need to verify at Poly Bell Services, but I have to think they would do this for you. I've read other situations where they would do this. Then when you get your room, go to the room and call down for delivery.

I've never tried it but I can tell you I always drive down and often do split stays and have never had any problem leaving my luggage for resort #2 in my car, even in August or Sept. and I always travel with a case of water. Unless you have cold food of some sort, it should be fine in your car.

Yes I sent an email but not sure how long it will take to get an answer. So I thought I’d ask here if anyone has had this situation before.

Bell services at the Beach club will take your luggage and will transfer it to the Poly the next day.

They should be able to hold your luggage.

I have only ever asked about them holding car seats over night and was told no. This was pre pandemic though. They said nothing over night. Hopefully things have changed though because luggage transfer is a PIA.

Another tack… Have you checked to see whether the single night on its own is available at Poly, or can you just not change the res to include the day? I would keep checking room availability to try to add that day, even if you have to book it as a single separate day. But I’m obsessive like that!

They will only hold bags until midnight the day you check out.

Disney resorts used to hold items for up to 10 days before check in. I don’t know if that’s changed.

Official word from Disney was they will hold luggage 10 days before check in. So we were fine. We dropped off our luggage at Polynesian and they held it while we were at the beach club and then we called and had it brought to the room when we got there.

We aren’t asking to hold after we check out- we were dropping off a day and a half before checking in which is according to their policy that was emailed to me- within the 10 day luggage hold.
