Hi All

We are a family of four ( 2 ad and 2 ch who are 15 and 10) visiting Orlando We are first timers and there is so much information, it's actually becoming a minefield. One thing I want to get right is the accommodation, but I also don't want to be spending an absolutely fortune on top of everything else we need to pay for.

Beach Club Villas seem nice and are reasonably priced - have you stayed there before? We would be booking a studio that says it can accommodate upto 5 people.

The location is pretty much unbeatable and also the pool is great. You guys will love it there. The only concern I’d have would be if all of you guys mind sharing a bathroom. I know for my family when I was growing up we always managed with a studio but others would like more space.

There’s a queen size bed, a pull down murphy bed and a smaller pull down that the 10 year old will likely be comfy on so sleeping spaces shouldnt be an issue.

You can check out a video on youtube.com

Just put in Beach Club Villas Studio and look at ones from late 2023 on.

Thank you so much for your response. Our girls are used to sharing a bed on holiday, and we're all used to just one bathroom so this would work perfectly for us.

We love BCV - one of our favorites. The studios are much nicer, in our opinion, since they moved to the Murphy beds. Much more comfortable than the old, sometimes worn out pull out beds. I also agree about the perfect location (you can walk to EP, and walk/boat/skyliner to HS).

Walking into Epcot is absolutely amazing so we love that area for hotels. You also have all of the other hotels and Boardwalk area to visit for food. Taking a boat to Hollywood Studios or even walking cannot be beat. We have been a handful of times in the summer and in August so just be prepared for the intense humidity. That may also be a plus to staying at the Beach Club - if heavy downpours are expected you can just pop over to your resort and do something indoors. Just be prepared for the intense weather.

It may be a little bit cramped for 5, but the location is unbeatable. We have stayed there 3 times and really enjoy it.

It's one of my favorites, pool or not. The location can't be beat. The proximity to the Skyline and such a variety of food options. And I love the little lobby, including the lovely aroma when you first enter.

Big disappointment for us. The only thing we liked about BCV was the pool and the proximity to the marketplace at the Yacht Club (yes, there is a BC marketplace, but we liked the one at YC much better), neither of which would be enough for us to ever stay there again.

That's disappointing to hear. I haven't booked anywhere yet as I'm completely torn about where to stay as it's our first time visiting and the information about the best location is a minefield plus we really don't want to spend a whole load of money on a hotel when we more than likely won't spend much time in it.

Make sure you monitor the refurbishment of StormAlongBay and Shipwreck Pool (Jan to Jun 2025 is schedule), your kids might be disappointed if it is closed.

Beach Club Villas is a very nice resort with a great location and recently refurbished rooms. The big feature pool will be closed next year into June. There will always be someone that is unhappy with a resort if you ask here. The food there isn’t my favorite but I can say that about other great resorts at WDW. If you’re traveling next year through June, I’d pick a different resort as having a feature pool open would be very important for the cost.

Absolutely LOVED BCV. Just a perfect location. SAB was a big hit for the girls, but honestly it was not the headliner. Crescent Lake is the headliner. Quick access to all that EP has to offer, plus BWV and YC. So many good places to eat and things to do!

Easy walk in the park to fireworks or just hang out on the bridge and watch. Just the best stay we have had! Truly magical!

BC is really great. As others have said, QS is lacking but there are enough options nearby (including Swan/Dolphin/EPCOT) that it’s never dissuaded us from staying there. We’ve also taken the skyliner to Riv some mornings when we’re not heading to the park early.

Have fun!
