Quick question: I haven't been on the Disboards for a couple of years and I've just made plans to do a quick solo trip in January. I've been looking for all the sticky threads that I remember and can't seem to find them for Disneyland. Can anyone please direct me, or were they removed due to being out of date? Thanks! It's good to be back ! :dog:

If they aren’t pinned they were probably removed due to being out of date. What information are you looking for.

Welcome back! As LKing said, a lot of stickies went away after COVID since things changed quite a bit in some areas. Let us know what you were curious about!

For me, the biggest adjustment was getting used to the new front of line pass (in my head, it'll always be called Fastpass 😅). It was a big bummer to move from Maxpass to what is currently offered with LLs. I guess it's the one ride per day thing that really irks me, as I used to love reriding certain attractions.

Nothing in particular, really. I just always like to catch up on recent experiences that people have had and the different tips and tricks that they've uncovered. I get a little obsessed to be honest :rotfl:
Thanks for asking. I'll let you know if I think of anything that I MUST have an answer to 😉

Do you know about all the latest virtual queue and Lightning Lane Multi/Single/Premier Pass stuff?

I just found the G+ and LL thread. Studying hard!

Interestingly, I was just scouring the Tiana Bayou Adventure thread to try to figure out how VQs work. I would love if you could give me a quick rundown.

Thank you so much for asking!!!

At this rate, considering how much changes and how confused I get with WDW's version of LL and what's different there, my best bet is just to get on my phone when I get to DLR and figure it out. 😂

VQ for Tiana’s goes very fast. You have to be quick right at 7am, noon or 4pm to get one. You can only get one VQ for the ride per day. LL is much easier to get for Tiana’s.

On the app go to the VQ section and select all parties wanting to ride. Do this prior to the drop. Then right at drop attempt to join. This is my understanding at least of how it works. I have about 10 days before I will attempt to join the VQ. As much as I don’t want to I may end up buy LLMP to be able to ride.

Not sure which one you are referring to, but it might be outdated.

VQ are pretty darn simple.
  • Open your app
  • On the home page, scroll down to Virtual Queue
  • Select "Join Virtual Queue"
  • Select members in your party
  • Hit refresh at when the clock strikes 7 am, noon or 4 pm.
You can enter the 7 am VQ from outside of the park as long as Disneyland is your starting park. For noon and 4 pm, you need have either scanned into Disneyland or into DCA with a park hopper ticket.

Tiana Bayou Adventure is also a LLMP attraction so, you can ride once via VQ and again via LLMP. Just make sure you hang onto your poncho. 🌊🌊🌊:umbrella:

Ignore what is happening at WDW. Other than the name (LLMP rather than Genie +), nothing has changed at Disneyland. At Disneyland, you can NOT book LLMP in advance. You must be scanned into the park on that day in order to book an experience.
