Ok in the rules of induction it says I can have mayonnaise yumm, but mayonnaise isn't listed on the list of acceptable foods. Can I have mayo or not? :(
I don't want to ruin my induction so I thought I would ask the opinion of you guys since I know who the real experts are (you guys)!
Trying to do it right while looking up to those who have battled before me....

I have Kraft real Mayo here it says zero carbs on the top and in the nutritional info it say 0 carbs, and 0 sugars but it does have sugar listed in the ingredients so I'm guessing that it's a no am I right? I'll have to look into other brands I certainly don't want to stall my weight loss just because I ate a little mayo.

I use the Kraft brand all the time. I think you are Ok as long as you stay away from light mayo. I use quite a bit of mayo when I make up chicken salad, and I never had a problem.
As far as the sugar, I thought any sugar added would be listed as a carb. So I'm a little puzzled by this. But I have been using the kraft real mayo, and have consistantly lost weight.

Does anyone know what Atkins recomended? I have a feeling maybe it was to make your own Mayo. (I don't have the time for this). If you are really concerned, try seeing if Atkins has a recipe.

I use the Kraft Real Mayo, make tuna/chicken/egg salad all the time, and am losing, so I don't think there's anything wrong with it for induction. :)

My guess is that there is so little sugar in 1 tablespoon, that it doesn't even equal a carb per serving.

I checked my label too, and there is corn syrup added but no carbs in 1 tbl.

Some regular mayonaise brands must put more sugar in theirs because it is one carb per serving. Someone was talking about it on here a while ago but I can't remember the name of the brand.

As long as it is 0 carbs, I wouldn't worry about it. :)

Oh, thank you, thank you, :worship: I am so excited to be able to put a little in my tuna salad tonight! ::yes::
