Are you allowed to bring a laptop into the Parks?

For various reasons, I will need to bring in my laptop into the park to submit some time crucial travel applications.

Does security allow you to put your laptop into your backpack and bring it into the theme park itself?

I did this once. I used my phone as a hot spot in case WDW wifi faed me and told the job never again on PTO. Doesn't stop them from calling me. Cry babies.

Yes, my DH often has to bring his with him for work. He usually just rents a locker and puts in in there for the day so that he has easy access to it if he does end up needing it.

I have all the conferencing apps on my phone and can do any business calls on it, don't need the laptop.

Yup! I walked into animal kingdom in June and saw someone working away on their laptop. Thought ya know if I had to work at Disney then I’d want it to be like that!

Ah, the good old previous to cell phone days. The days when the closest thing you would come to that was when you went to a pay phone and called them collect to find out if they needed anything. That only happened when it was beneficial for me to do so. Otherwise, they had to survive without me and if they couldn't, then I needed to get paid more money.

Yup! I bring my laptop into the parks to write (novels) often. Security never bats an eye, but it will set off the new security walkthrough devices, so prepare to stop, or put it on the bottom of a stroller if you have one during security.

Thanks to all that replied. Thankfully, this isn't work related. I have some travel paperwork that I have to submit online that I can't do on my phone that has to be submitted on one of the days that I am at the park. Otherwise, I would have to go back to the hotel to submit it.

This reason is why I have a work cell and personal cell. The work cell does not go on vacation.

My work does not pay for my cell, so I am not obligated to take calls on it. My company is actually VERY good about PTO though. They actively insist that you don't check in while away. It'd have to be something crazy major for them to come looking.
