Are there any movies you just CAN'T watch?

Any movie with dogs dying, too much gore, or anything super scary. Im a wimp.

A specific movie that my family knows I can't watch is The Fox and the Hound because I find it too sad. Last time I watched it was when it was released from the vault a few years ago and I spend the whole movie bawling my eyes out with a box of tissues.

The Japanese film Ring-O: Birthday, the predecessor to the Japanese and American Ring movies. It is especially scary! Didn't sleep for a few nights after watching that!

Click here for an image - too creepy for the DIS!

Saw movies....and I do like a good horror movie
Realistic war movies
Cheesy comedies

Requiem for a dream
Seven
Schindler’s list
The grey zone
Dancer in the dark
Million dollar baby
Breaking the waves
House of sand and fog

The Alamo (the original) way back then, that was too bloody for me. I'm almost certain that the remake would be more so.

Any of the Friday the 13th movies.

Requiem for a Dream - It's just too powerful. You are forced into watching a series of lives spiral into destruction without letup.
Ughhhh yes. I had to watch it for a class I was taking. The last scene :scared1::scared1::scared1::sad1:

However, I still haven't seen UP. I can't get past the love story at the beginning because I know what's going to happen.

Dumb and Dumber, UGH. Forest Gump and Lilo and Stitch, not sure, I just could not stand Stitch!

American History X
I have never watched the full movie. I rented it & the first scene horrified me, so I turned it off.

I knew this one would come up - it’s a very hard film to watch & it doesn’t get any easier as it goes on.

Same for Saving Private Ryan and A Time To Kill.

I do watch all of the above, but they’re not easy.

That movie hit a nerve right away & I have never been able to go back & try it again...& I am not deterred by violence, blood, gore, etc.

My Bloody Valentine. It was the first horror movie I was forced to watch when I was about 10 with a whole bunch of older cousins. I ended up hiding my face in the couch for most of it. Fast Forward about 15 years I saw that it was on TV once and tried to watch it. I still could not watch that movie! I don't even remember how far I made it, but I started freaking out and had to turn it off. And I can watch horror movies, but something about that one. Disclaimer - I will only watch scary movies during the day lol!

Schindler's List and Terms of Endearment because I don't think I could emotionally handle either of them.

Another vote for Titanic. I watched it in the movie theatre and bawled so much and even had dreams about it afterwards . I can’t watch it again all these years later.. DH bought the DVD but I won’t watch it again.

Scindler’s List is another. Great movie but I was emotionally drained after seeing it.

Hostel.. Only because its sick world out there and whos to say stuff like this hasnt happen.

Anything that has a ton of violence. Not a movie but...Prison Break just about did me in. I was done after 9 episodes. There is a movie I walked out on Mystic River. Also anything with child abduction or child abuse. Just can’t do it!

I agree with everyone about movies where an animal dies - can't do it.

Ugh, while maybe I could watch it again, but John wick. I had no warning and then spent a good half hour into the movie crying. I really wish I had read what it was about.
