I ordered tickets for Disney on Ice in April. We are 3rd row on the ice. The lady at the Giant Center said these were great seats, but just wanted to hear from others that they are?? I guess we can't get much closer, right? I am just worried that well be looking up the whole time?

I can't help you, but I had to laugh when I read your question because we were "sorta" there during a performance of Disney on Ice. We stopped there on a Spring Break trip to visit the Hershey Bears gift shop and they had a Disney performance going on. While there our youngest son really had to go to the bathroom, but the only restrooms were on the arena concourse (there's an outside entrance to the gift shop). So they radioed for a usher to come escort us through the concourse to the restrooms... and then back to the exit. We could hear the show, but the arena entrances were draped off so we couldn't see anything.

you have excellent seats. you r 3 rows up from the ice. Picture being at a basketball game and the skaters are the players, you are 3 rows up in the seats from the floor. Enjoy your show!

Yes those are excellent seats. You won't be looking up. you will be looking down at the ice. To be honest there isn't a bad seat in the house at the giant center (we go there for a lot of Bears games) but 3 rows from the ice ... those are excellent seats

Ok, totally depends on if you are actually on the floor or in the bleachers. By what you said, it sounds like you are actually on the floor (which they say is "on the ice").

Been to Giant Center many, many times. INHO, if you are on the floor, in the 3rd row behind the ice, then those seats are bad. You won't be looking up, you will just be looking through the people in front of you. It is standard seating, folding chairs on the floor- not stadium, so you are looking straight ahead and if you have a tall person in front of you, you are screwed. If you have little ones, it will be especially bad. Now with that said, they are not totally terrible. You are close to the characters and some of them will stop and shake hands, etc.

If you are in the actual bleachers, then those seats will be great.

I would choose bleacher seats (stadium seating) over floor seats any day (unless I was able to get front row ice) and I have been on the floor a few times.

Take a look at this seating chart to get a general idea of what I am talking about.

AH yes... I didn't realize they put seats on the floor for Disney on ice. I would have thought they just used the stadium seating. I can't do floor seats unless I'm in the front row or I won't be able to see anything lol I'm too short.

Thanks everyone! Yes, the seats are on the ice (not bleachers) and we are third row. Luckily, we have seats 1,2 & 3 so we can put the little one on the end seat so he can see better. I was going to do bleachers, but ended up with ice seats. I hope were not disappointed with them! Sounds from some of the reviews that they should be good seats. As long as our necks don't have to be craned to look up, then I am happy:thumbsup2

Oh if you are right on the end then you should be fine :D the end seats are the best lol especially with kids.

You shouldn't have to look up as the the ice will be at the same level you are. but also my experience with children's stage shows... if there were a stage you wouldn't really have to look up much as the stage is usually only 3 feet high. so no craning your neck

but in this case the ice should be at the same level as you :)

Thanks!! I never thought about the stage height vs children! And the end seats I was thankful for, especially if there needs to be a bathroom break!!
Thank you all for your help on this!!
