Any Coca-Cola collectibles collectors out there?

I cleaned out a closet and totally forgot I had this bear. From what I read, only 12 were made and this one is still new in the box. And one have an idea what it’s worth?

You know you might want to call coca cola and see , it looks like it was made from someone other than coke. I collect old signs porcelain and the like. I think there is a coke forum for antique items, that may know.

Bear is wearing a white cap that reads "Coca Cola", blue shirt, black pants and a white apron that reads "Atlanta Coca Cola Bottling Company". Bear is holding a plastic coca cola bottle. Wow, only twelve were made?! How did you even acquire one of the twelve and for it just to end up in a closet??? Just wondering.

without being able to see the pics of the one they sold, it's still a guess of what year theirs was. I just find it strange that the only place I could find an actual pic is on Worthpoint.com and they are the ones that say only 12 were made. I have a friend that is high up at Coke and I sent him the info and he has never seen or heard of this bear. He's looking into it for me.

We got a lot of unique gifts from my grandmother on my ex wife's side of the family and this along with a Christmas barbie were put up since that were supposed to be limited editions. I just totally forgot about this being in my daughters closet, up high, wrapped in a bag.

I believe that particular bear was only issued in 2000, and there are a few of them that come up when you search (old listings in different places), so I doubt that the total number made was 12 - perhaps there were 12 bear designs. There seems to be a slightly different look Dr Pembearton Soda Fountain Bear each year. Okay, so I got someone that could actually tell me about this bear. From 1998-2000 Coke had these for their anniversary. The "12" bears I read about is misleading. What it is exactly is that each year they had a number of styles. Like in 1999 they had 5 different bears. In 2000 they had 12 different ones. This one is "1" of "12" different bears released in 2000, Not 1 of only 12 ever made. The good news is this one was a really short run and it is the rarest one made of all his bears. They estimate that there are less than 50 of these new in box, there were only 500 made. So now I will just wrap it back up and save it for my kids. I'm sure that when they are older, it might be worth a little more.
