Hopefully that means next year’s BCV dues will be super low. Although, the pool is getting redone in 2025 so that could run up the $$. But it can’t be any more expensive than the recent refurb, right? RIGHT??Looking higher than estimated at Beach Club at about $9.39/pt if my math is right. It's nice that both VGF and RIV came in lower than expected though
Taxes are a wildcard sometime you get a credit as Disney over estimates other times you owe a bit more. If it really did go up to $9.39 that is almost a 9% increase which is crazy and I don't think that will happen again.Hopefully that means next year’s BCV dues will be super low. Probably overthinking but that confirms it right?View attachment 921842
You could buy cards and then pay off your Red Card immediately to clear up space on your credit limit.I’m still sad that last year Costco had 10% off Disney gift cards and this year, I’m staring down Target’s 5% sale with a Red Card with only half the credit limit of our dues.
I was about to pay my BWV dues and noticed the amount was higher than anticipated and looks like the difference is the 2024 property tax adjustment. You would think they would have this sorted before they print out and mail dues statements. Glad I checked here to see if anyone else had the same issue. Relatively new owner, does this happen a lot?Got the email from DVC today saying that my dues were loaded. I own at BCV. The dues were initially posted as $9.12, but when I looked today they are now $9.39 because of a 2024 tax revision. Argh!!
Property tax adjustments happen every year, but sometimes we get a credit and other years, like 2024, we have to pay more. Here’s the explanation: https://dvcnews.com/dvc-program-men...-for-most-walt-disney-world-based-dvc-resortsI was about to pay my BWV dues and noticed the amount was higher than anticipated and looks like the difference is the 2024 property tax adjustment. I did this too, but I got the limit of three cards, twice a day, for four days! Also, check in with Best Buy every now and again. A few times a year they will run a 10% off Disney gift card sale. They actually just did that. It ended yesterday. I was able to get eight gift cards and saved 10%.
I always get cut off after two. Then I have to wait 24 hours to get another two.I did this too, but I got the limit of three cards, twice a day, for four days!
So strange that it was a different limit for us.I always get cut off after two. Then I have to wait 24 hours to get another two.
I consolidate all my cards via the Disneygiftcard.com site and fill the repository cards as close to $1000 as I can. The GC site is much easier to use - enter repository card name & numbers, enter names and numbers for the small GCs you want to consolidate, and you can add them all to the repository and delete them with minimal clicks. Using multiple GCs to pay dues takes too many clicks! So strange that it was a different limit for us.
The sale was only on the $50 cards, so I have a LOT of codes to enter on the DVC page.
Yep like @CarolynFH said combining on this Disney gift card site first is best.So strange that it was a different limit for us.
