Animal Kingdom Moonlight Magic Sign Up experience!

I just booked the Moonlight magic and wanted to share experience.
Logged onto iPhone 90 minutes ahead and countdown was on screen from link DVC Sent.
I got in the Que and was 4,440 in line. (I wonder if that's members or total on reservation).
It took 28 minutes and I did get into the event.
Had to confirm my member ID and then go through all the steps to put in number of guests and agree about 8 times to the rules.
Confirmed and had and email within minutes all about my reservation and details.

Wanted to share. Staying at Old Key West Oct 22-27th. Our Home.

If anyone at OLD Key West wants to share 1 more ticket for the event on Oct 24 please reach out. I am one short of entire party being able to go.

We registered for the 10/24 as well. I was so focused on registering - what time does it actually start? Now we want to look for dinner reservations.

AK closes at 6 pm that day. The event starts at 7:00 pm and goes until 10:00 pm. They will let you in at 4:00 but free parking didn’t start until 4:00 pm. This was an issue for our local friends who weren’t staying and not Passholders. They just processing people before 4. You have to have your entire party together.

I got in and registered in about 20 minutes or so. However; when I received my email, it stated that my party was 0 and not 4. Other posters had experienced the same thing. I called DVC and they said they also had other people calling, put me on hold and sent me an updated email with the correct party number.

Cannot wait!

We’re currently traveling and I was able to get AK for our stay in November. I had loaded the queue on my iPad the night before, but had no internet connection while in flight. I just connected my iPad between flights and I was immediately loaded to the sign up page. So I assume there are still a lot of openings, which bodes well for members not staying on property.

I was hoping for the 12/10 event. I just stayed in the queue from last night and ended up in the 2300s this morning. The queue moved very fast and it was maybe 15 minutes tops. Easy peasy!

There was 5477 in front of me and it took about 35ish minutes!

We too are 1 short, as other posters anyone generous with one more ticket would be most appreciated….

We have never been before, what is everyone’s experience? Can’t believe our dates actually worked out!

For 10/24, there were over 9,000 people in line ahead of me. It went pretty quickly though - after about 40 minutes I got in and was able to get reservations. Did I read correctly that we can get in as early as 4:00? I went through everything on the DVC website but couldn't see any start time. Part of my family is driving in so I want to be sure to give them the right time. Congrats to everyone who got in!

That is how it was in January for AK. The event usually starts an hour after park closing and runs for 3 hours. They let you into park 3 hours before the start of the event.

It is still open! I just checked and it brought me to the sign in page. They must either expanded the capacity or because there are 3 events, help spread out the demand.

I have a question. We have direct and resale. One of our resales , we were fathered in. If we are staying on our recent resale can we still get in? Do we have to put that membership number in where we are staying or our direct membership? Thank you

The member number attached to the actual reservation. They will recognize whether you are eligible with all contracts.
