Hello! We have never used any sort of grocery delivery service even at home. We would love to order soda, aerosol sunscreen and alcoholic seltzers and have them delivered to Coronado next month. Does anyone have any recommendations or preferences on any of these services’s? Perhaps one I don’t have mentioned above. Thank you so much!!!

I have been using Walmart of late. If you have Walmart+ the shipping is free. They have most of the items that I want and are much cheaper then the others.

I use Amazon/Whole Food since that is who I order from at home. I could just as well order from Amazon Fresh or regular Amazon and feel confident my goods would be delivered 🙂. This Christmas past, I ordered from BJ’s because they had the best prices on the juices and seltzer needed to make POG which greatly simplified my life.

Publix grocery stores uses Instacart to shop for/deliver groceries. There are three close to WDW. They will accept Instacart gift carts at checkout, which are often on sale at Costco/Sam's Club. I bought a $100 for $85 card from Sam's before the holidays and used it for our order during our January stay. This plan disney link goes over how to input the hotel's address and your info/delivery instructions.

a) I think you mean https://gardengrocer.com/

Note that their website says this:
We do require a $40.00 order minimum and there is a $15 delivery fee for all orders with a subtotal of less than $200. If your order is over $200, the delivery fee is waived.

I don't know if your order would be under the minimum.

b) I don't know what the rule is on delivery of alcoholic seltzers. Some delivery companies can't/won't leave alcohol with Bell Services, you have to sign for it. So that's something for you to investigate.

c) Sometimes delivery companies have a free trial period. If you take advantage of it, don't forget to cancel.

d) Would you use Walmart+ or Instacart at home? If you have to pay a one-month fee, consider whether you would get additional use out of a service.

We have always ordered from Amazon/Whole Foods and have mostly had great success. Somehow on our last trip, our groceries were posted to the amazon app as delivered but when I went to pick them up from the bell hop/front desk they were no where to be found. Amazon was great with refunding the order but I really could have used the diapers that were in that order. We submitted the order again and got our groceries later that night. Just make sure to be clear on the address of your hotel and directions for drop off

Don't order from Garden Grocer! I have used them in the past and they were great, but that was before Covid and their service has gone downhill. Not only is it super expensive but the customer service is not great. I placed an order for $75 and then we changed our room to a villa in a different resort, so I canceled the first order and placed a new one for $161. I waited over 30 days and didn't get a refund on the first order. So I called, and they said they would be processing it soon....I am still waiting. I finally disputed it with my card, and my card says that they have contacted them twice but have gotten no response. I just canceled my other order because I have no faith they will actually do anything at this point. So right now, there are two charges on my account for groceries I have never received. I leave in a few weeks and plan to order from Whole Foods or Instacart at this point. Honestly, it will be cheaper and a lot less hassle then this pre-charge and never getting my money back

To piggyback off OP’s question: it sounds like ordering alcohol with groceries is a mixed bag when it comes to the delivery service leaving at the desk, or requiring the person ordering to sign in person.

Does anybody have clarity on which specific store(s) / delivery service(s) will leave beer or hard seltzer at the desk?

I use Instacart when I don't have time to shop (like on the airplane before I land somewhere). I like that in the app you can find stores that have "in store pricing" so you know, outside of delivery/tip fees the cost is the same. If you get something that is incorrect, let Instatcart know and they will credit it back to you. It hasn't happened often, but when it has, it was always refunded.

My mom uses Instacart sometimes when we need to order groceries and they are good most of the time but a word of warning when you order anything from Instacart. They might run out of some products at the store where you send them too and sometimes they are known for giving people the wrong product in place of the product that people originally ordered and another thing is that they will run late when delivering your order. Mom also orders from Walmart and they give great service too. So my best bet for you is to try Walmart during your trip

Instacart and Amazon Fresh are solid choices, but if you want alcohol, Drizly might be worth checking out too. Instacart can deliver everything on your list, but some stores may have restrictions on alcohol. Walmart+ is another good option if you’re looking for lower prices and no delivery fees (with a membership). Bell Services at Coronado can hold your order, including refrigerated items, but they won’t store alcohol—so you’ll need to be there to receive that part. Hope that helps! 😊

Drizly no longer exists. I think it got absorbed into Uber Eats
