Just starting to plan our fish extender gifts. I have some fun ideas for the kiddos but I haven't come up with any good ideas for the adults. What are some things any of you have received and liked? Anything to stay away from?

I received some great gifts as a solo adult: personalized magnets, mickey pizza cutter, CD with Disney music, a hand-made FE bag, vinyl bumper sticker of the DCL logo, temporary Mickey tattoo. I gave out Disney book markers, pirate eye patches for Pirate night, personalized magnets and small first aid kits. (not all on the same cruise)

We've received some pretty awesome gifts over the years. One person cut 2x4 into one foot pieces and painted them half with chalk board paint and the other half with red paint and wrote days til Disney so creative, we also got a first aid kit with a note " banaids for your monsters inc scrapes, qtips to clean your dumbo ears etc" it was small things they put in but I loved it! Other people have just given random things which I love too, hand sanitizer, chocolates, post it's, highliters, etc

Things we would actually use on the cruise or when we got home. Sanitizer, snacks to take to the theater, bottles of water or rootbeer, etc. We are not Disney freaks, so most of te random themed Disney gear was tossed out before we left. Sad, but it just had no use or purpose in our home. We gave out consumables for our FE so no one had to haul anything home.

My favorites have been Christmas ornaments and a laundry bag. I just love Christmas so the ornaments were perfect. The laundry bag was awesome because I hung it up immediately and place my clothes in it. When it was time to pack, I literally closed the bag and threw into my suitcase.

What type of laundry bag was it? Any pictures?

Christmas ornaments were my favorite! Also love the hand-decorated Mickey picture frames. Super cute magnets are still on my fridge too. The most useful were the baggies with laundry detergent, dryer sheets, sewing kit, sanitizer, etc. We also received a couple nice bags, including very expensive-looking personalized ones. I don't usually walk around carrying a bag with our last name on it, but one of my kids got a more generic drawstring backpack decorated with Mickey which has been very useful. Hope this helps!

Our favorites are always things that are unique to the person's hometown or state. We have received a yummy bag of potato chips, chocolates, etc. We have been researching unique Oregon items to give out for our upcoming cruise!

I did nail polish with Disney nail stickers for the ladies. I did shot glasses or keychains for the men. I also made magnets for the doors

Having the same thoughts for our cruise. I'm leaning towards sling/cinch bags (haven't decided if I want plain colored or Disney themed), hand sanitizer (definitely Disney), key holders, and reusable water bottles/cups. I try to come up with things that I would like to receive as a gift.

We have only done one.....and did DCL Mickey head shaped ornament. Plan to do that again next time.

I think the only things we kept were Magnets, food, and a crocheted Mickey head. And a CD of Disney music.
The rest we left in the room.

We got koozies with our cruise date on them one year and we still use those!
Someone made Key Fobs that we used on our luggage zippers-those were fun.
Bottle cap magnets-those are fun too.
Bottle cap christmas tree ornament--really like that one.
Netted bag for the beach-was a life saver the year we got that one!!

I personally am NOT a fan of overly crafty things made from wood, especially picture frames. We've gotten those a couple times and they were super cute but not really practical for us.

We were just talking about this and food/snack items seem to be good. My husband enjoys that more than artsy things. We pack them on port adventures. We also both enjoyed door magnets. During our last cruise we got a great wood cutting board and a tote bag. Both have been used a lot. We like the plastic cups with lids but our cabinets are over flowing with them and with water bottles.

We are not huge over the top disney people either but I do love them for cruising. We received drink coozies and I loved them. Also the hand santizer and necessity pack, and someone made personalized magnets with names on them we still use those and all the magnets we have received.

I think we are going to do an alcoholic beverage this year with a mixer or recipe and if people don't like it that's fine but I think they will be easy to do and Fun!

thinking back on our last cruise, we liked the keychains, magnets, and consumables from people's home towns. And the tsums. But I collect them :-) Hand sanitizer is nice, but I didn't need 5 bottles of it.

I know that I am resurrecting this thread. But we are going on our 9th DCL cruise and this will be the first time we are doing an FE exchange. Just looking for adult ideas. Any more out there?

I got a really nice leather keychain on the last cruise. I love the hometown treats. Love handmade things. Please no more highlighters really not needed with the new app.
