It's working for now but it's happened twice this afternoon. I also was unable to use the app. It was just looping using face ID and wouldn't let me in. I had to reboot both PC and IPhone twice.

I was getting that same message just before my ressie day about a week ago. I closed everything out and restarted and that seemed to do the trick. I was very worried as well.
Now my password isn't working. The app is also not working saying plans can't be loaded at this time and we're now on our way down to WDW. This is scaring me. The timing sucks!

It could be Disney IT at it's finest again or it could be your local Internet connection. On your smartphone try turning off Wi-Fi and use your Cellular data connect to perform a quick test.
If it works on your Cellular data then it is your home Internet connection. If it also fails on your Cellular data plan then it is likely a Disney IT issue. As a data point it is working fine here.
