Following along. We love sailing Concierge!
Thanks for following along The proposal happens near the later part of the cruise so I'll just have to build up the suspense until thenI've been following along and I'm anxiously waiting to hear about the proposal!!!
Concierge is really amazingFollowing along. We love sailing Concierge!
I'm glad you're enjoying it I'm a big picture taker, the 10 photo limit per post makes it difficult to get them all out right away lol. And you're going to have so much fun on your cruise in June. You won't have to worry about cold weather then.Love your trip report!! Great pictures! I can't wait to board the Dream this June!!
Thank you for taking the time to read itthanks for sharing your trip so far cant wait to read more!
Danny was great, he was helping my Fiance a lot with the planning for the proposal.Great pictures! Danny has been on our team twice. He's great.
What did the outdoor concierge area look like before? Those cabins were great, I'm pretty sure we are going to be sailing in one again for our honeymoon part 1, which if we do book will be leaving exactly one year from today I feel like the concierge is more worth it on the Fantasy/Dream since they have more carved out for concierge, whereas on the Magic/Wonder it feels like they have a smaller space? If we do a Disney cruise for Europe there's no way I could afford concierge. I was looking at 2018 and there was a room that was $35,000.Great pics. We sailed the concierge only once and it was on the Dream so I love reliving the memories. Looks like the outdoor concierge area has changed a lot since we were there in 2013. We had the 4 cabins right next to yours on the left: 12506 12508 12510 12512
Perfect choice with budgeting for the 1 bedroom. That was our room too and it's incredible.
Sorry to hear you were so sick and I can't believe how cold and crowded it was in early Dec.
What a disaster at Roaring Forks. Not good. Hopefully this has improved.
Look forward to reading more.

It was pretty terrible timing to get sick. I don't get sick often and hadn't been sick for a long time and it was just a really bad cold. There's been a lot of cold fronts this winter in Florida. It was 40 degrees here this morning, so it was probably a lot colder in Orlando. I hope they fix Roaring Forks, but from what I'm understanding is they just changed it all over so they took something that was good and made it worse.
It does look really different. It looks like they added the awnings to block out some of the sun and added the hot tub. You'll just have to go back now to experience the changes. This was the outdoor concierge sundeck 4.5 yrs. ago. (can't believe it's been that long since we've sailed the Dream let alone concierge.)
I picked the bump out cabin closer to the front of the ship, the room directly next to our room wasn't available. I watched a couple YouTube videos on the room and it's the same layout as the one we had, just the balcony is a lot bigger. I'm excited to have this room for a full week this time.I would definitely book that bump out cabin next door if you can get it. We enjoyed that balcony.
I'm glad you enjoyed the tour You are going to have so much fun on your cruise. All caught up! I really enjoyed the tour of the ship. We're doing a 4 night cruise on the Dream in November and your tour has put me in the cruise planning mode. I've been so busy with Disney World trip planning and holiday stuff that I didn't give much thought to the cruise. I know you don't need to do much planning but I still like to do some planning.

I'm an over planner and constantly planning and changing things around. I think planning for a trip is just as fun as going on the trip The cruises definitely require less planning than Disney World, but there are still things to plan out. I like to request a certain dining rotation. If you're planning on doing one of the specialty restaurants you have to figure out how to fit it into the schedule. I wish Disney would tell you your rotation ahead of time to make it easier.
There are lots and lots of pictures ahead I've never done the brunch, I've had dinner at both Palo and Remy. I don't think I'd skip dinner though on that day. Try and get an earlier time for the brunch. You'll still have a good couple hours before dinner. You also don't need to decide now. If you are feeling really full, skip dinner then. It's not like Disney where you'll be charged a no show fee. You could also eat a light dinner. I like seeing the restaurants and try not to miss them, even if it's for a quick bite to eat.I loved the tour and I hope you keep the pics coming! So if you did a brunch at Palo, would you skip dinner that night (we have the earlier dinner sitting)? I guess it would depend on the time of brunch so maybe a silly question.
Since it's for your 10th anniversary (congrats!) I think you definitely deserve a meal alone to celebrate. If your kids don't want to go to the kids club that day have the in-laws watch them.It will be our 10th year anniversary while on the cruise so I'm thinking about booking a brunch at Palo for just me and dh. We're also traveling with our kids, his sister's family, and my mother & father in law. So it's dependent on my kids liking the kids club enough to hang there while we have brunch and also my inlaws not caring if we do something by ourselves which I'm sure they would all be fine with.
Trying to plan with other people is super stressful! I'm dealing with that now, trying to coordinate meeting up with my fiance's cousin this weekend and he has no plans and trying to fit ours to his is just not happening. We're just going to have him call when he's in the same park as us and we can meet up for a quick hello and maybe a ride depending.I do really love the planning and constant updating of my WDW trips but this past November's trip stressed me out. I ending up helping my cousin with her last minute bookings and even though they were fine with doing whatever, I took it upon myself to make sure they got to do all of the stuff they've missed out on. I think that combined with my last minute changes put me over the edge (I never did get that BOG dinner that I searched for over and over). Right now I'm planning a summer trip and it's a lot less stressful, thankfully!
Next time if you're struggling to find something sign up for a reservation finder. It's free. It's helped me find hard to get reservations. The first time I got BOG dinner I was checking like a crazy person and happened to be awake at 3am and a reservation popped up.(I never did get that BOG dinner that I searched for over and over)
