The boardwalk at night can be fun They have performers out and some games.. or grab a drink and walk around the path to beach club

We have stayed in the Hillsville VA and Wytheville Va area a couple times.. many hotels options in the area depending on what your looking for.. we usually stick to Hampton Inns and Holiday Inn /Express chains and have had good luck

We did something similar last year.. had used points in April and had the rest of our points booked for Christmas trip.. had a opportunity to go down in July and booked 10 days at Allstar music… it served it purpose but we definitely missed the larger rooms and upgraded amenities.. better...

We were last there in December and yes that had all the standard games and some different ones.. and yes you can play them in the community hall or check them out and keep them for a couple days and play wherever

And I didn’t even think about our DVC discounts too.. definitely a hard pass for us and will probably never use it again

So glad we stopped using the dinning plan years ago.. even before this increase we found it to be such a waste of money and food for us… what 10 year old eats $94 dollars worth of food every day?.. our first trip with out using we saved every food receipt and figured we saved about $550-$600...

We are the same.. Canadian DVC owner, fully paid off .. due to the banking of points during Covid shut down and the APs that we had purchased and not activated we went 3 times last year .. and have a 14 day trip booked this summer… we have always said there are tons of ways to make a disney...
