Disney Transportation from Orlando Airport?

Hey All,
In about a month, I will be going to Orlando for a week due to a few business stuff. I am thinking to possibly spend a day at Disney World during that time, however I do not have a car. I was thinking about asking a friend to drive me to the airport (about 3 miles from where I will be) and then take Disney transportation from the Airport to the parks. Is it easy to catch Disney Transportation from Airport? Does the transportation run on a time schedule? How does all that work?

I am still not sure if I will go or not, but if I do go, I'd like to get the tickets as soon as possible in order to reserve FP+. How are crowds during the month of January? Will be going either 16, 18, or 19. Also what park do you recommend I go to for a day? We took a whole family vacation for a week about a year and a half ago, but this time I will be by myself. I was thinking Animal Kingdom because of the new Avatarland, Rivers of Light, and DINOSAUR was closed for rehab while we were there last. Did the new Star Wars and Toy Story land open up at Hollywood Studios yet? If not I think I will go to Animal Kingdom.

If you have a hotel reservation at a Disney resort, you'd call DME to book transport 866-599-0951. If you're not, then your best bet is an uber or lyft.

Is it possible to book without a hotel reservation?

No. You must have a resort reservation to ride DME. Otherwise, Uber/Lyft is your best bet.

To answer your other questions: The Toy Story and Star Wars expansions have not opened at DHS yet. Toy Story will probably be next summer, Star Wars is TBD 2019.

Is it possible to book without a hotel reservation?
No. DME is a perk provided for those staying at a WDW owned resort. It has nothing to do with tickets or the parks. No hotel at WDW? No DME.
