Candlelight Processional Dining Packages booking starts10/17

When you book your dining time it tells you which show your tickets will be for. Don’t see how 6:30 ressie could be anything but an 8:30 show since you get the entrance ticket at the end of your meal.

My conundrum is that I have to choose between Neil Patrick Harris and Brendan Fraser *sigh*
Thanks, that makes sense! I forgot they give the pass to you at the dinner itself and not before. And oh, that's def a conundrum.

Oh boy, between being the first couple days of Luminous and NPH as narrator, I am sure my terrible adr booking luck with continue. I was hoping for a less popular person on my only potential date, lol.
You and me both, I was really hoping it wouldn't be someone that would draw a crowd. Of course our days in Epcot we have NPH and John Stamos. :rotfl2: That plus the new fireworks this could be a pretty crowded trip!

I hear ya!

In all my years I’ve never seen NPH and I thought maybe this could be the year…
any other Dr. Who fans out there who are dying to see his performance as the Toymaker on this years special??? LOL

I’ll give it my best… my fall back is Brendan Fraser… I’m definitely not mad :teeth:

This is our first time trying to do CP. Is it possible to do the early show and dinner afterward so dinner isn't rushed to get to the show? I've read you get the badges after dinner so guessing it can't be after the show. Does one schedule their meal at 3ish to do the 5:15 show if you can't eat dinner after?

Same - except I’m going to go to both!!!

I don’t think so. In the way past, we did this, but they had a different system for giving out show credentials. Recently, it’s been difficult to get later times at all. In 2022, the latest time I was able to get was 5:50 for the 8:15 show. And, as mentioned above, you get your entry badge at dinner or lunch now (late lunch/super early dinner is the dining time for the early shows typically).

I'm also worried about this rush. I want to enjoy the meal we're paying so much for! I'm thinking of trying for an Akershus breakfast...

conversation at my house earlier

DH: the CP narrator list is out

Me: ok, who do you want to see?

DH: Anne Margaret

Me: we are on a cruise those dates

DH: can we cancel it?

:oops:o_O:eek::faint:
Me: no

Lol

So our choices during our trip are:

Louis Fonzi (had to Google)

Simi Liu

Or

John Stamos (saw him, did a fine job. NPH still
Would be my first choice)

Thinking we will likely see Simi Lu as I expect J Stamos dates to be tough grab for packages

This will be my first visit to Epcot while the FotH is going on. My sister is joining me on the trip, but her only park day will be at EPCOT, so I'm letting her decide on where she'd like to go for the meal. It would be nice if you could select both the dining time and the show time beforehand. Unfortunately, Disney IT probably couldn't handle blacking out show times based on your mealtime (i.e., booking dinner at 6:30pm at LeCellier would automatically black out the 7pm CP). I guess we'll find out on the 17th.

I’ve been pretty successful getting what/who I wanted for CP previously however, that was for a party of 2…I’ll be solo this year - I think I heard that ressies for 1 are very difficult - is that true?

I haven't done it since 2018, but you do select both at the same time. It was kind of random at that time, you'd refresh and get a different CP time (none conflicting with the dining time though), but all the meals were pretty early, so there probably isn't even a 6:30pm dining time.

Yes, this has been true in the past. You can book for 2, then call to adjust… can’t be done online as I recall.

Something to consider - the packages will include options for lunch, and even breakfast. Get a lunch package, get your 'badges' for the show (probably the first show), and then book a separate dinner reservation after..... We've done this and it's worked well. It really depends on how much of the day you intend to spend at EPCOT!

This!

I generally pick a lunch time to get that earlier show. Although, I love the idea of going at 8:30 PM and experiencing the show after dark, at my age that’s a little late for me LOL

Thanks for all this info! Little frustrated that I can’t book reservations for December with a pixie pass! I can book with my sorcerers pass and did but now I have to wait and hope my daughter gets a Epcot reservation. It’s hard to get processional dining/tickets at all. Now I did need a double dose of pixie dust…one for processional and one for reservation! Keeping my “ wings” crossed.
