Celebrating the Wonder of Disney Princess

Hear ye, hear ye! Calling all fans of Disney Princess characters! We are officially taking over the month of August to spotlight this iconic brand and its beloved characters. And that’s not all! The month-long festivities will lead up to the return of World Princess Week, a celebration of the beloved storytelling of Disney Princess.
Throughout the month, fans can expect to find new product launches, collaborations and experiences. Let’s take a look at the amazing lineup of what’s coming!
From new brick castles and treehouses to a brand new special on Disney+, the LEGO Group and Disney are ready to immerse fans in the world of Disney Princess like never before. Premiering today exclusively on the Disney YouTube handle is the latest episode of the Making Wonder series, where hosts Nicole and Mari use LEGO Bricks to build a one-of-a-kind Disney Castle with the help of Youth Leaders from Girl Up, a girl-centered leadership development initiative established by the United Nations Foundation, focusing on equity for girls and women.
Fans will also see LEGO Ultimate Adventure Castle come to life in the upcoming “LEGO Disney Princess: The Castle Quest” special, coming to Disney+. The special features Tiana, Moana, Snow White, Rapunzel, and Ariel and their unexpected adventure to a mysterious castle, where they discover Gaston has hatched an evil plan to take over their kingdoms. The Princess characters must work together to solve challenges hidden deep within the castle walls and try to save their kingdoms from Gaston. Will bravery, quick thinking, and teamwork prevail? Find out when the special debuts only on Disney+ on August 18!
For those looking for more Disney LEGO products, The Enchanted Treehouse features 13 iconic Disney characters (including some Disney Princess characters) and a detail-filled tree house offering kids endless role-play fun. Other options available include the Princess Enchanted Journey, perfect for kids aged 6 and up with a passion for exploration; and Aurora’s Castle, which offers a learn-to-build experience with beloved characters and is perfect for younger kids. Now, let’s dive into all the magical new toys that young Disney Princess fans can expect to find this month. On August 15, Mattel will release the ultimate Disney Princess doll house- the Disney Princess Magical Adventures Castle! Standing four feet tall and featuring magical lights and sounds, the castle includes ten play areas, each inspired by a Disney Princess character. I’m grim grinning with excitement to share that a new limited edition Haunted Mansion Hatbox Ghost tiki mug will materialize at Disneyland Resort on Wednesday, August 9! To celebrate the 54th Anniversary of the beloved Haunted Mansion attraction at Disneyland, Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar is introducing a 3rd Edition Hatbox Ghost tiki mug with a ghostly teal green color, black glaze and served with the specialty cocktail Cloaked Specter or the non-alcoholic version. Guests must be 21 or over to purchase.
The new Hatbox Ghost mug will be available at Trader Sam’s beginning at 11:30 AM PT on August 9. Guests are limited to two mugs per person, per transaction. While supplies last. If looking to park your vehicle at the Disneyland Hotel, please note that self-parking rates will apply. Disneyland Hotel parking is validated for 3 hours for dine-in guests only.
