Annual Passes Resume April 13 (DVC) April 20 (General Public)

I was trading in two 10 day tickets for 2 annual passes, and it took a loooong time on hold. I’m thinking you’re right about new vs. upgrading. Also, I think that the passes for Fla residents are in different, possibly faster ques.
It is crazy to me that every ticket cast members can't do everything

This was our issue I think - upgrading existing tickets. I somehow ended up in the wrong queue originally (probably my fault) and waited almost 2 hours and got transferred - another hour and finally got a CM that could help us. That was after 90+ minutes on the first time and getting disconnected!

I closed out my browser on my iPad after I was successful on the phone. I just decided now to check if they were still letting people in the queue. The bar said more than an hour, and the blue line advanced to the t of "the" before the word "back". When I tried the queue on my laptop, it started at the very beginning. I had completely closed my browser and shut down my device to make sure I vacated my place in the queue, but somehow it is still there. Hopefully there will be some progress for those in the virtual queue if those who got tickets over the phone are finally out of the queue.

Definitely different call queues. The cast member I spoke to (to purchase a new Incredipass with no upgrading or applying already bought tickets to price) told me that other departments are having a much busier day than her department. She said the brunt of today is being borne by those who are dealing with customers who want to upgrade, applying already bought tickets to pass price and/or FL monthly payment program.

Were you able to use more than I set of tickets for an each AP?
Yes. The only ticket they could not apply was a two day park ticket that was part of a package I booked for this fall. And with that one, I spoke to the resort department they simply rebooked that package without the park tickets. So it was effectively refunded

No one knows, which is why it's been a frenzy this morning. I will be surprised if they ever go back to them being available 100% of the time since they've gotten so good at getting high spending one time visitors to come year round, but I'm hoping moving forward they will be less scarce than they have been the last 3 years!
This is why I keep renewing every year, the unknown. I originally got my AP back in January 2020. Then when covid hit, I took the refund. When parks opened back up, I got my new AP right before they discontinued selling them. So every year I keep renewing knowing that if I don't, there is a chance I can't get a new one whenever I wanted to.

Then why are they still letting people enter the Virtual Queue? (And yes I just pulled up the VQ while typing this post.) Not sure I trust this report. It has no details to back it up. I'm waiting to see what others are being told.

I would be SHOCKED if sales were done in less than a day.

Wow, okay. Staying home from work this morning was definitely the right call. Glad we got ours. I suggest anyone that wants one get on the website and be on the phone too to increase your chance of getting through.
