Disney+ Offer?

I was able to get in and check prices. I'm currently booked on the Magic, 4 night leaving from Galveston on a Military rate, that offer is still better than the Disney + offer.
Military rate for 05B 2A/2C is $2,494 2A/2C... the same with Disney + offer is $2,939.

Just FYI I tried 3 devices and the third device got through the queue in 2 minutes, the other 2 were still stuck in the queue. Unfortunately wasn't the sailings we wanted anymore!

Finally connected to Disney's phone line (without a busy signal). My estimated wait time if only 540 minutes! Since there is a limit on how many promo bookings can be done on each cruise, I don't have high hopes. I may not even stay connected. Nine hours is a long time to wait if the answer is they can't save me money in the end. Ironically, Disney may have found a way to offer a promo that ends up leaving customers feeling worse about buying their product instead of better. We will see.

I almost moved this one to a travel agent, but didn't since I knew there was a good chance I would need to make changes. That was a mistake. Oh well, it a chunk of money I would save, but not enough to stress about.

I still can't believe Disney is giving me free money. I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop, because I don't see what's in this for them. They might get some people to book who wouldn't have otherwise, but they might annoy many more (including current customers) with the web site access issues.
Southwest is offering free companion fares for this same window of time next year. I’m thinking that travel numbers for early 2023 must be low across the board.

Honestly, TAs are having just as much trouble as everyone else. For people who were ready to go this morning, it wasn't a problem. But for people just getting back to me now...they're in the same boat as anybody without a TA. We also can't get through, we can't get online now, we're getting kicked out of the system too. It's a mess.

ETA: I guess not QUITE the same boat, as we're happy to deal with the mess for them so they don't have to! But we're having just as much trouble actually getting through and getting things booked as everyone else rn.

I'm a TA and have been having trouble since 0730am. They had the queue started at 0630 I'm told. Slowly I have been piecing together quotes for my folks. Best part is the frequent getting kicked out in the middle of things and having to re-join the line. Not a smooth morning for sure but it is what it is :)

There was a queue for the WDW DIsney+ offer at around 6am, but the queue for DCL didn't start until at least 8:30am (at least for me)!

I have gotten kicked out of the queue twice now :-(
Me too :(. But one time, I did make it all the way to checkout past guest info for one client. Clicked the button to book...and it said my cart was empty. Still didn't actually book it, but I got close...so there is hope I guess!

I had the cruise I wanted in my cart this morning and was working on checking out, when I got a call (I’m at work lol) and accidentally closed the browser. Haven’t been able to get back in yet. Super annoyed at myself.

I can’t get into the DCL site but I just booked the cruise we wanted through Costco website and am on hold with them to get the discount applied as it didn’t show up as available on the DCL (Jan 2-7) site when I did get through before it put me back in a waiting room. 🤞 they will apply the discount.

I just logged on my phone to browse the deals, using Safari, and it let me right on to look at cruises and pricing. I wasn’t put into any sort of waiting room and no page crashes.

When I tried to browse earlier using Chrome, I saw the waiting room page but because I’m only just looking, I wasn’t going to wait.

Same just happened to me 😥

I think all of the January 2nd Sailings are excluded from the promotion.

UGHHH.... now I got all the way to submitting my deposit payment and then got the "your cart is empty" and put back in the waiting room.

My computer won't even let me access the website anymore-it says "you don't have permission to access this website on this server." What??? Does anyone know what that means? I can access every other website (including this one).

It probably doesn't matter-I would still be stuck in the virtual waiting room anyway....

Been kicked off website numerous times, waiting room and regular booking page. One issue is that the name the Disney+ account is under is not the full legal name required to sail. When I try to modify that it won't allow any changes (or even typing for that matter). No issue with adding other passengers, just trying to modify the name of the main passenger and Disney+ subscriber. Starting calling as well this morning right at 8, finally got on hold and still on hold 3 hours and 15 minutes later. Thankful for speakerphones, but I now have most of the Disney hold music loop selections memorized....

Jan 2 cruises on the Magic and the Dream are excluded from the promotion.

Do Disney Cruises work as Park visits? In the sense that I can put down $200 usd today and finish paying one month before the trip? And cancel at anytime before that for a full refund?
