I need a snack spreadsheet.
Glue a coonskin cap on top of a tophat and go as Henry? Or get a bear-ear headband and copy one of their shirts.Hubby and I going 9/9- he isnt much of a costume guy and if you ask his favorite "ride" he will say Country Bear Jamboree! Does anyone have any advice on minimal costumes for these characters LOL?
I've seen some cute Country Bears t-shirts on Etsy that look like the old poster art work. You could be Trixie with a pink boa and blue sunhat. Myself and my two friends are going as the Sunbonnets: Bunny, Bubbles, and BEE-U-LAHHH!Glue a coonskin cap on top of a tophat and go as Henry? Or get a bear-ear headband and copy one of their shirts.
My DH, DD and her DBF are going October 27th! We are super excited. My costume idea is for me and my husband to be Tink and one of the lost boys. I am having a heck of a time trying to find what I need to purchase to put together a lost boy costumer for an adult. Do any of you have any ideas? I really want to get started on the costumes, but don't know where to begin with him! I am also wondering if it would be better for him to be Peter Pan or Captain Hook. lol. I just really love the lost boy idea.
Any suggestions?
Thank you!First thing that comes to mind is one of those hats with the scarf bit attached:

I think you'll be fine. I saw a picture of a Disney blogger wearing the shirt you are describing at the party last night.Hey friends....as we get closer and closer to our September party date....I am getting increasingly worried that I'm going to get turned away for my costume.
Lewd and inappropriate attire is becoming a little bit of a talking point these last couple of weeks. It won't surprise me if there is a blanket policy put into place soon.
Here's where my costume comes in. I'm going as Mrs. Banks from Mary Poppins. It's sort of halfway between a Mrs Banks disneybound and a costume. The piece de resistance is the iconic "Votes for Women" suffragette sash. I am afraid that....in the current climate, it will be seen as a political statement, and I will be turned away.
Now....yes, it's a political statement. I pay homage to all the women who came before. But...it's not a political statement, in the sense of current world events. I had plans to use this costume back in 2020, but...we all know what happened there. It has nothing to do with any particular rulings or anything going on in the world today.
Am I overthinking? Am I worrying over nothing?

And worst-case you just take the sash off.
