Disney Very Merriest After Hours Party just announced!

Still trying just to see and still not working. Tried logging in and out, clearing cache, chrome incognito.Still get chucked back onto the purchase tix page. It's really bugging me! I have a reservation there. I don't want this stress for next year's Halloween tix! 😫 😆

Completely lost track of time this morning and freaked out when I saw it was past 7AM. I logged into my account on Disney site and was able to get two tickets for early Dec. Super easy. FYI - The available dates came up for my specific stay. For once the Disney site worked lol. Good luck everyone.

Smooth experience for me as well. Purchased online using CHROME. No issues at all. Bravo to Disney IT. Very smooth.

I see my tickets under the "TICKETS & MEMORY MAKER" tab but will these ever show up on my DAILY ITINERARY?

I don't think so. What I did was manually add a note under MDE for that day. I like being able to see everything in the itinerary. I also do that for any Open Table dinner reservations I make as those obviously will never show up in MDE otherwise.

Was able to purchase Christmas party tickets no problem - what a nice surprise! I got a pop-up that says we also need a park reservation for that day, but when I go to make one, it says we need to have a valid admission ticket first. This can't be right is it? A ticket for after hours only should be sufficient, right? We wouldn't need full day admission on top of it?

Correct. After-hours doesn't need a regular day park ticket. I believe the pop-up is just automatic to make people aware for when they do purchase day park tickets.

Going to be a long day at MK. Early entry that morning, afternoon break at the hotel, and then back again for the event. All with grandma and three kids (9,7, and 1 year old). We better rest up! lol

how do you add notes ?

Does anyone know if DVC stays count in terms of getting early access to tickets? The site just says 'schedule unavailable' for me and I can't find an option to buy tickets despite having a DVC point stay booked.

On the computer, log into MDE and pull up your plans. Over on the right hand side (right under where it says My Plans, Reservations and Tickets) you will see a blue box that says Add More Plans. Click that and the very last item is Notes.

I've never tried it on my phone, but I imagine there's a way to do it that way as well.

We are going 12/21st. We will be at Universal that morning. Checking out over there, and checking in at WL in the afternoon. I do have a regular park ticket in case we want to hit MK earlier - before the 7:00 entry for the AH event.

Dang, now I'm overly excited and only have 4 months to wait. HA!

Great idea. That's exactly what I will do. Thanks for the tip.

It will look like this.

What park strategy do people have for day of events? We got tickets for the 9th of November.
What other park would you go to that day or would you schedule MK for the morning hoping it was slower?

I‘m staying on my own DVC points & I got an email this morning telling me that ‘as a Disney Resort hotel guest’ I could book early.
I didn’t bother trying since I’m not currently interested in the party

I think our strategy is going to sleep in late that morning. Hit up PORT ORLEANS for breakfast for the beignets and visit DISNEY SPRINGS for the day. Then we'll show up at 7:00pm ready to dominate the rides till close!

That's the advantage of booking early with a room reservation! It keeps the pool of people much smaller for now!
