Do you wear make up to the parks?

So I love to watch Molly's videos on All ears but I get sooo distracted at how her lipstick is always crooked, half eaten off, or just plain smeared across her face. She has on a full face of make up, under a mask at Disney and it looks so uncomfortable. She's one of those people that is naturally beautiful and if I looked like that I would never darken the cosmetic isle again. So that made me wonder how many people care about make up in the parks? These days, I do a sunscreen with some added pigment drops to blend away my blotchy skin and a little mascara so you can tell I'm a girl lol. During covid with the masks....no make up whatsoever. I was already annoyed enough, no need to add to my drama lol. My best friend NEVER wears any kind of make up. I can't even imagine that kind of freedom!

I just put on some bb cream to even out my skin tone. I’m going for comfort when I’m at Disney. Now if we’re doing a fancy dinner or planning on posing for a big family picture or something I’ll put a little on but not a full face. It’s vacation!

I left off lipstick when we did Disney with masks (nobody would see it and it would only get the mask dirtier), but still did the rest of my makeup.

Back when I was young I was convinced it was necessary but it would just slide off my face like you describe. These days all I ever do is mascara and a smidge of liner, maybe I'd do it at dinner but my kids and DH tell me it ages me to my real age, and who wants that particular endearment LOL?

Speaking of makeup, I keep seeing what looks like face spackle on Instagram2021-06-17_09-03-01_000.jpg 2021-06-17_08-57-18_000.jpg
So I get this for serious disfiguring situations, I do not get why it is marketed to everyday kids who should love themselves as-is.

Nope. I don't wear makeup at home either. For WDW I do wear some Burts Bees moisurizer with 30 SPF. It works better than regular cream sunscreens with higher SPFs, but I'm not sure why.

I'll tell you this - I did once wear makeup to the parks for a Halloween costume, but I wouldn't do it again! It was HOT that night and I had to keep touching up. By the end of it, I just let it go and rode Splash Mountain a few times! I know costume makeup isn't quite the same as ladies' cosmetics, but I can totally see the argument for foregoing it or keeping it to a minimum. I am so glad it's soemthing I don't have to deal with regularly!

I always wear a foundation with SPF 30 in it (so if I forget sunscreen I'm covered!) sometimes a bit of eyeshadow and always lip gloss (now clear lip balm with the masks!)

MAYBE mascara if we are going to dinner and I've had a chance to shower after the parks but usually not! And definitely not at the parks anymore. Now, in my teens and early 20s? Absolutely yes!
