Use Golden Malted ORIGINAL mix (not the "complete" version). Follow the buttermilk pancake recipe on the side and actually use buttermilk. The mix is available on Amazon but it's actually a fair amount cheaper just ordering it directly.

I do like Krusteaz. They have some great mixes.These won't taste EXACTLY like Mickey waffles, but the Krusteaz Belgin Waffle mix (you add water, oil, and eggs--NOT the "just add water mix") is amazing. If you use that batter with the 90th anniversary waffle maker you will never eat breakfast out again.
