Soooo....
No parades
No fireworks
No character interactions
No character meals
I’ve heard no entertainment...not sure if that means no shows (FOTLK, VLM, castle show) no street performers? (Main Street and Hollywood) No music groups at World Showcase and AK?
I don’t think it’s a nail in a coffin for Disney at all. I think they are going to see that they can be Six Flags and charge the same prices and still be successful.
I can't wait until this is all over and everything goes back to normal!
I think it will be a nail in the coffin for lots of families with young children. No character interaction and no character meals. Let's either go to Universal or someplace other than Florida.
You assume this will end. Interesting.

I've had the same thoughts about GG. It seems excellently set up for social distancing and still having a compelling setting even without characters.do you think that restaurants that normally have character meals will be closed, or will they just adjust the price of the meals to reflect the fact there are no character interactions? Take Garden Grill for instance. Served family style already and a good restaurant for social distancing. Would they just adjust the price of the meal or keep restaurant closed altogether?
On a positive note, my wallet will probably be happier with me if there are no character meals on our next visit.
I am sorry if this was asked somewhere. But will the restaurants be open but with no characters (Chef Mickeys, Storybook, 1900 Fare etc) or completely closed?
Perhaps Disney can get creative and have the characters out but not accessible. For example, have them wave from the MK train station periodically, start up the old character bus that used to run through Epcot and expand that to the other parks a few times a day. If there is no published schedule for these, there shouldn't be a problem with crowds.

All pandemics end. The Spanish Flu lead to the Roaring 20’s. The bubonic plague killed 1/3 of people on earth and lead to a new era of labor.
As soon as they are able to, Disney will go back to selling $5 worth of food for $60 by throwing in a person dressed as a mouse.
