It Looks Like the Death Numbers are Being Inflated

Our son knows of two people whose death certificates said cause of death was Covid19, but one died in his home from a heart attack and the other was drunk and got into an auto accident and died from his injuries.

:confused3 I don't know about the numbers themselves; we have no choice but to accept them as they are being reported. The death rate though is completely skewed by the fact that there are exponentially more people that have or have had Covid19 than have been formally diagnosed.

I've never viewed death certificates of acquaintances, only close family members.
If your son believes there are errors on the certificates maybe he should ask the family to request corrections.

The families did question the cause of death, they were told that that was what they were supposed to put on all death certificates.

And he didn’t see the death certificates himself, he was just told what they said for cause of death.

I believe it. a friend locally had an extended family member pass away from terminal cancer the other day, she wasn’t tested for covid but because she entered hospital with respiratory symptoms (common with terminal illness) they marked covid and not cancer.

Easily verifiable then because the county will become very quickly known nationally and worldwide as an emerging hotspot.

Are you willing to share what county this is happening in so we can check their department of health webpage for the posted reported Covid-19 deaths?

If what the OP says is true, especially with regards to the drunk driving death, then the person certifying the death certificate is falsifying government records and that is a crime. And this is grounds for the family to sue. So, OP, what’s the deal on that? And how exactly did your son happen to view those death certificates? I call BS on this post. (To be clear, a death certificate can list COVID19 as an UNDERLYING factor for death but not as the actual cause of death)

I don’t know what counties these deaths occurred in.

Call BS if you want to. I only posted what I was told, and what my son was told from his friends whose family members died. I don’t think they lied about it, what reason would they have for doing so?

I wonder why certain states deaths per million population numbers are extremely high. Like crazy high. While the majority of states are pretty similar and way lower. Even FL which is a state with tons of elderly that you'd think this virus would just rip through that state. Compare it to, say, NJ or NY.
