Hi guys! I'm way, way behind but dh and I are taking a little trip for our anniversary next weekend. We're staying at the Boulders Resort in Phoenix with our Aspire free nights and I'm wondering, can we buy a gc at the front desk to use up our resort credits? TIA!

Yes if your resort carries them!

Love LOTR! I am currently working in a huge cross stitch project of LOTR. I’ve only completed a small portion of it, but this is what it will look like when it’s done. It will probably take me more than a year to complete.

I think I already follow you on there :)
Wow. That will be amazing. I don’t have the patience for cross stitch. I need craft projects that take weeks, maybe a month or two otherwise I get tired of it. Envious of your stick-to-it-ness.

Yeah it’s a horror comedy but very heavy on gore and violence. Did you watch Zoeys Extraordinary Playlist? Peter Gallagher sings ❤

I didn't, I forgot it was starting. There's a few people in it I like but I'm not sure the concept is something I can actually get behind. I may wait to see if it gets picked up and then binge it later.

But have you read it?
Add more fuel to my shun fire... I honestly don't read for pleasure at all. It just isn't my thing. I couldn't tell you the last book I read that was not assigned to me for school. Maybe Captain Underpants in the 90s if that is even considered a "book?!" 🤣

I begrudgingly read books for school only so I could keep good grades, but literature was not my thing. I liked reading my science textbooks more

ETA ok I loved Arthur, but those were barely books and I was even younger :rotfl:

I loved GoT once I got into it, but at first glance (show) I had to turn it off about one minute in. I've listened to all the novels (oh, please just finish them already) and will say that the show is fantastic (until the end, when it's NOT). As for Hunger Games, yes. Divergent, meh. And Twilight is a hard NO!!! DD got that book in middle school when it was all the rage and the writing was so awful that neither of us wanted to read it (and she's a kid who always finished her books). Luckily it found a home with a friend of hers.

Read the HP books numerous times and have listened to the books numerous times. Narrator, Jim Dale is awesome! The movies are meh and do no justice t the books.
Depending on the quiz I come up as Gryffindor or Ravenclaw. If we go with Pottermore, I'm a Ravenclaw so that's what I stick to.
Listened to GoT and loved the series for the most part. I highly doubt that GRRM will ever finish the series which is really sad.
D&D absolutely ruined a great show and story!

I agree with everything you said, 100%. :goodvibes

Random WDW question. We're going for spring break, have 8 day tix for a 10 night trip. Is it really necessary to do FP+ right when my window opens at 7 am EST? It would be 4 am PST...painful. Will a few hours later be all that disadvantageous since my trip is so long? Have not been in almost 6 years, so relearning everything, lol.

As a veteran of many a WDW Spring Break campaign, my advice is to do whatever you can do ahead of time to make it better when you are there. Get those FP+ (I know just how painful 4 am is), make those ADRs, etc. Spring Break is a great time to visit WDW because the weather is usually perfect and the parks are open early and stay open late, but the crowds are pretty bad and going in with a good game plan that lets you stay 10 mins ahead of the masses is a game changer.

You sound like Dh. He doesn’t enjoy reading at all. He’ll read if he has to. He does like podcasts and audio books though. We’ve been reading every night to my belly and he does funny voices so maybe he only likes to read kids books lol?

I loved it! But I love musicals and things like Pitch Perfect etc. It made me cry even with all the laughter.

For Door Dash, since there's actually places I'd eat at that offer pick up, including Dick's which I eat at once a monthish, my credit will get used up. But since I've never used it, is it like any other mobile order app in that it'll tell me when it should be ready for me to pick up?

I do too but I tend to enjoy them more when there's a purpose to the music and I get there is since it's in her head, just not sure the whole idea of it is something that can last that long or if it'll keep my interested. I started out watching Perfect Harmony and gave up after 3 or 4 episodes because I just didn't like it at all and I so wanted to. The characters and the stories were just annoying.

We watch that too, and while I agree, it's not great, we just love Bradley Whitford so much, we keep watching. Zoey was a LOT better!

Make sure your app is updated but mine showed right up. Close and reopen the app
Nope doesnt work. Even tried deleting ans reinstalling and deleting and readding the card via the doc link. It just closes the offer and instead offers me a free trial for 1 month.

eta- called Chase and they said the benefit was supposed to launch today but they are having widespread issues and to try again midday tmrw

Obviously I don't either from what I posted...so it seems we're bringing things back together after yesterday's episode 🤣

I enjoyed reading to my children in a British Accent. All children's books are read in a British Accent by me... and my fave is Mr. Brown can Moo! CockA-Doodle-Doo was just meant for a cockney accent!
