Disney's YACHT & BEACH CLUB RESORTS Information & Questions

Hey everyone! Need your help! If you had a recent stay at the Beach Club or if you have one in the next month or so, could you let us know what was in your room for a coffee maker!

Thank you! Now I won't have to bring my small keurig coffee maker with me!

Stay tuned, though!

It's possible, but I'm not sure if all rooms have received Keurig replacements for the Cuisinart coffee makers.

Does anyone know how many king rooms on CL? Would I be better booking non CL if king is most important? Thx.

We stayed YC CL in February. We wanted two beds due to some recent surgery and had noted that with signature services. We checked in after 8pm and were given a king room. No queens available. They moved us the next day. So, if you want CL stick with it and ask to be accommodated later. I don’t know the answer to your direct question, but was glad to have stayed with CL.

I'm checking in to the Villas tomorrow so won't be able to help too much. Maybe I'll go undercover and scope out the Beach Club and ask someone what kind of coffee makers are in the rooms? And then when they're escorting me off property.........

Ok guys, help me out or maybe I should say help reassure me.

The tickets for Avengers: Endgame sold out so fast I couldn’t get them for Thursday night. I did, however, get them for 10 am Friday morning, April 26th.

The movie is 3 hours 2 minutes long. Our flight leaves at 5:20 which I would guess means a pickup at YC on ME around 2:20. Are we going to be able to make it?

Using Disney transportation, I think you're cutting this too close especially from Disney Springs. Using a ride service it's doable but still think there will be some stress and pressure in getting back in time. Maybe it's just me, but I couldn't enjoy a 3 hour movie wondering if I would make it or not and certainly wouldn't want to end a vacation that way.

I think PCFriar is right, that will be really stressful if you do make it. I usually figure the movie doesn’t actually start for at least 20 minutes after the scheduled time. So a 10 am movie won’t start til at least 10:20, maybe later. The absolute earliest you will be out of there is 1:15, depending on if you stay for credits & where you are sitting. And hope no one needs the rest room, lol. Then about a 10 minute walk to the bus stop. Wait for a bus, up to another 20 minutes. The buses also sometimes sit for a few minutes before taking off. Then the 10 minute drive to the hotel. I think with everything going smoothly, you would be back at about 2. I don’t use ME, but from what I read, they can schedule you up to 15 minutes before that 3 hour window (although that might be wrong), then the want you there 15 minutes before your scheduled time. So you might need to be at YC by 1:50. Just really, really close.

Are you checking luggage at the resort in the morning? Will you have carry ons stored? If you have carryons, any chance you could just take them with you to the theater? Then you could Uber directly to the airport from Disney Springs. Or schedule a towncar to pick you up at 2:30 - 2:45 from the hotel. Gives you time to get back & pick up your luggage or just not have to run to the bus stop from the movie.

What I was thinking of doing was checking the luggage with ME that morning then taking a cab or Uber to Disney Springs and also taking one back to YC after the movie. If I missed ME would there be a problem in having my bags go that morning and me taking a cab to the airport?

I know this sounds crazy but my son was looking forward to seeing this while we were down there. It wouldn’t destroy our vacation if we didn’t but I’d like to if possible.

Not crazy at all! I just wouldn’t count on making ME. If you don’t mind Uber, that would probably be the way to go to get to the airport too.

As I said, we don’t use ME. But the resort airlines luggage check in is totally separate from ME as far as I know. The luggage will be transported to the airport well before you are even scheduled to get on ME. Posters say that it is the same thing as doing curbside check in at the airport. So not using ME should be no issue. Just have that back up plan in case you miss ME.

You can even wait & see what time ME gives you for your pick up time the night before, then make some final plans. If it seems too close & you are going to Uber to YC anyway, maybe just plan to take it to the airport too. Don’t know how it would work, but maybe that driver would be willing to wait while you pick up your carryons from bell services & then take you to the airport.

Great idea! Thank you for your reply!

Hi there,

Super excited to stay @ BC for 1st time. My family will b visiting 6/6-6/13. We usually plan our trips 1st week of May and early November bc I swore I would never visit during the Summer; however; kids won and June here we come.

In addition, any Mermaid Training participants out there? I’m looking forward to hearing reviews. It would b right up my 5 y/o’s alley. I haven’t told her about it just in case its a bust. Also, would love to hear input on the new Captain Hooks Pirate Crew Adventure. My husbands a bit nervous reserving this one since kids only, ages
4-12, although I know she would love it!

Lastly, would love to hear from anyone w/ experience scheduling guided vision excursion from Crescent Lake. My husband and son are very interested on our day off.

Truly appreciate this great thread and everyone have a Blessed and Magical Day:)!

Hi All! Excited to be returning to the BC/YC....this time at the YC! We will be there August 8 - 17 and we can't wait....bring on the summer!

When you check in at YC, ask the CM at the front desk to print off your ME voucher; it will have your pick up time noted, as well as the message to be out front, waiting for the bus, about 10-15 minutes prior to pick up time. The pick up time is supposed to be when they will pull away from the resort, not when they expect you to be waiting for the bus.

:welcome: back!

I'll add you to the list.

Because you are traveling with your adult son, and will only have 2 people in your room, you may want to specify that you prefer 2 queen beds instead of a king.

::yes::

:woohoo:

Oh yes, I always call to tell them that I am traveling with my adult son and must have a room with two queens.
