Lol yeah, I was just considering the Marriott Biz because it comes with the free night right? I was looking at some nice category 5 hotels that are like $400 a night in Europe. I was thinking of stacking up on the Marriott/SPG cards to get cheap rooms in Europe every year.

I agree. And it’s probably for the best that @speedyfishy can’t get the Marriott Biz after the CIC and CSR+CSP. It’s a honeytrap at that point.

Thanks for outlining this out for me! I can do the SPG personal app before the CIC right? This is so insane, Im going to think about it and try and knock out 8k MSR in a few hours and if I manage ill pull the trigger on the CIC and SPG personal today.

the 19k MSR is a lot but 11k of it is Chase. I need to slow down though.

If you fly mostly Delta the best route is American Express cards. Ultimate Reward points don't work that well for Delta. The Delta Platinum/Gold cards have limited time sign up bonuses right now (until November). The Amex Membership Reward Points can also be converted to use with Delta. There are business versions with those cards that would not jeopardize your standing with Chase.

Is this for the CIC? My dh was denied in May for that card after getting the 2-week message. Approved in July though!

When was the next statement close date...when I closed one of my Disney cards it only showed up as closed on my credit report the day after the next statement close date

We pay for the flights, and get reimbursed - however we have a travel department and guidelines, so if we can't justify spending more for a certain airline, when a less expensive option is available, that can affect which airline we choose.

I've never been denied Delta to Canada, and when going to Denver, we easily justify direct flights on SW, so we don't experience delays in arriving due to weather in February.

I didn’t know that one card is primary....is there a way to tell which card...I have 4 cards showing open in my personal and 2 in my business
