You’ll be fine. It is a wonderful resort. The location can not be beat. The pool is wonderful. If you think it is a mistake, see if you can get a Garden View room

LOVE the Beach Club Stormalong Bay. My favorite pool on property. Wish that there had been vacancy 7 months in advance at the BCV. Been on a waitlist exactly at 7 months; October F&W can be VERY difficult to get because of the convenience! ENJOY your BC stay!

We'll likely be out at some point everyday as well (probably by the volleyball net) - send me a PM!

DD loves the cruise, she does it every trip and usually asks to go again later in the trip! She loves that they get to sneak in Epcot and steal the "rum" from Le Cellier

Sorry if this question is old... Someone in another thread is complaining about shampoo dispensers on the walls of the shower. Do they have this at YC? Or is it only at values/moderates? I was so looking forward to the little bottles of H2O shampoo and conditioner and taking extras with us on our (non-Disney) cruise after the parks.

No bulk dispensers at the YC/BC and there are no current plans to add them.

Depends. Do you have a package or room only? Is he staying with you the entire trip or just some nights? How many people are already on the reservation?

Working my way through a number of pages on here, taking in the info that I can. We’re staying at YC 06-13 September.

First time there or at any of the Epcot resorts, and first of our trips to WDW that we’ve been able to plan 6+ months in advance. Previous trips have been WL, CR, and off-site once. Looking forward to our first Food & Wine experience, and hoping we get lucky along the way somewhere with some fairy dust as we’re both celebrating bdays and I put it on every reservation that asks for special occasions.

I stayed at Pop last November and we didn’t like the sea marine scent either. I don’t know what’s at BC currently, but I can let you know in a few weeks!

Do you have a room only reservation or a package? Is your son staying for the entire trip?

If you have a room only, I think it should be easy to call and add him to your reservation, and he will get all the privileges of a resort guest (Magical Express, 60 day advanced Fast Pass reservations). There will be a nightly fee ($25? $35?) for each night a third adult will be in your room, so if he will not be there the entire trip, it may make sense to add him only for the nights he will be there.

If you have a package, it is a whole 'nuther ballgame. If added prior to the trip, he needs to be on the same package (# nights, tickets, dining plan) as the others in the room. I believe it is also possible to add a guest, after you have checked into the room, for only the number of nights he will be there.

If others have better or additional info, please correct me.

ETA- I see the question has been answered already
