Disney Gift Card Deals

Sam's is offering a membership for $45. You get a $25 vudu movie credit, free family meal and a $10 GC. you CAN use a GC to purchase a membership.

I used a $25 rewards certificate last week and bought a $25 Disney gift card ONLINE and it went through without an issue. I ordered it Thursday and it arrived Saturday. I have not tried in store yet since the last time I was there, they specifically told me that the rewards certificates could not be used. Since I don’t need to buy anything else right now, I don’t want to go to the store just to ask them to try it after they already told me it won’t work.
Ohmygosh I forgot to update!
Yes you can use BB rewards certificates in store. I did this just yesterday, used my $5 rewards cert to buy $55 variable load disney card. Customer service rep gave me no problems, the computer let in through just fine.

With all the talk of Sam's club membership I thought I'd throw out there an offer from TicketsAtWork for a discounted membership. 1 yr membership for 24.88 and they'll throw in a $5 gift card. Looks like you're buying it from TicketsAtWork so the only thing I see going for it is you can check out with PayPal. Which means potentially 5x points on Chase Freedom or maybe use a Paypal balance collected from rewards sites :)

ETA: D'oh sorry, meant to copy the fine print for ya:
"* By selecting this product, you agree to purchase a discounted One-Year Sam's Club membership voucher, which is transferable to friends and family. All charges and/or credits will be displayed in your order total above. Not valid for renewals."

Phew! That's good to know because right now, I have $30 in rewards. I was hoping that I wouldn't be stuck having to buy online in $25 increments. I guess that the folks at my store just jumped the gun when they told me they no longer would work. I don't think they really knew, but I know they seemed disappointed about it.

I guess they got confused? It's a coupon, and it gets rung up before they get to the total, so I'm not sure why it would be affected by the system change. But oddly enough not all cashiers are very familiar with them so they probably forgot how it worked and assumed that was stopped too. Or maybe thought you were talking about the savings codes from the Cashstar deals (although one would hope they know about their own rewards program )

I was near a BB this afternoon so did some Shopkicks and for giggles and kicks tried GC > GC with no luck. The cashier's whole demeanor changed and she was so apologetic when I pulled out the gift card and she told me that the system wouldn't take GC's starting a few days ago and it wouldn't work. So I'm assuming that location got updated late last week. My fault for not trying sooner, I didn't get my swagbucks redemption until after I passed the central PA locations that had been working and so we decided we'd just do some creative accounting and not worry about it. We'll probably use it for some Blu Ray's and then just move the cash into the vaca budget.

Fwiw I didn't ask anything just said I wanted to use my rewards certificate once my rep scanned everything and they pulled up the screen to do that and applied the reward that was on the account.

Usually my 4x coupons say "unlimited use." This time we used the 4x 3rd party gc coupon twice, and the Visa/MC 4x coupon once.

Nope! Mine didn't and I even posted them:

The verbiage on mine did not state "unlimited use." I have seen them before but this time around it was a one and done deal.

Anyone have experience cashing out for a gift card on Topcashback? I requested it over a month ago and it said it would be in the next batch which is... when exactly?

Hello!

I am not sure if this has been answered, but has anyone had luck buying Disney gift cards with a Bed Bath and Beyond gift card? Thanks so much!

I’m in Texas and have been able to do gc to gc at BBB. However, there have been some in here who have been turned down.

I'm so glad you guys posted about the rewards certificate being able to be used on gift cards. I purchased a $25 gift card for $20...which is exciting!

I tried in TN and was first told no I couldn’t and given the money laundering excuse. Told them that corporate said it was allowed and they still said no. So I called customer service and asked and left my name and number. Next day, a different manager called and told me it was indeed allowed and employees had just been confused because of the wording and misinformed and allowed me to come back in and make the purchase

I used to cash my coins in at Coinstar for a Best Buy egift cert (looks like a cash register receipt). Anyone know if those can still be used at BB to buy Disney gc? Thanks.

Probably not. Seems like most registers are no longer allowing it.

Do you do your transactions on separate days or the same day?

It varies, but I don't think it matters. I have occasionally had issues with the points crediting. I did have a Kroger CSR tell me once that the coupon was good for only one use, when I knew it was unlimited. I just hung up and called again, but now I try to remember to screen shot the coupon just in case.

This is great I have almost $70 in bb rewards and i thought i was not going to be able to use towards Disney.
Can the SB offer still be applied as long as it is $50?
