dansdad recently posted that there is only one microwave left that works. They are no longer offering them and the one is first come first served no requesting prior to arrival. This was a few pages back.

So excited! We're booked at the GF for 5 nights checking in August 29th! We did have a reservation at the Poly, but we had such an amazing stay at the Grand a couple of years ago, and we got a great discount, we decided to make the switch. Now I just have to convince DH that we NEED to reserve a cabana for our pool day haha!

We've never tried any of the table service restaurants at GF, what are your favorites? I know I want to do 1900 PF for breakfast one day - what characters are there for breakfast?

We've never eaten at Citricos, but I think Narcoossee's and GF Cafe are both good. Characters for breakfast at 1900 PF are Mary Poppins, Alice in wonderland, and Mad Hatter. Hope you have a great trip! Enjoy the rest of your planning .

I've been to Citrico's several times and have always enjoyed it. I've not had much luck with Narcoossee's. My family and I did dinner at 1900 Park Fare last October; it was something that my great niece enjoyed (she was 4 at the time) but not something I would go out of my way for. I did breakfast at the Grand Floridian Cafe a few years ago and enjoyed it. Have fun!

We love Narcoossees! We go every year - it’s one of our ‘must do’ restaurants! Love the filet, the Moscato they serve and the French press coffee!! My kids love the ‘make your own Smores’ for dessert! So good!! I’d definitely recommend!! Have fun!!!!

I don't think it's DVC - the name changed to "Resort & Spa" in 1997 - long before DVC came to Grand Floridian. It's a neat old find!

The French press coffee! I almost forget about that.

Narcoossees last year was good, gf cafe usually ok/good and citricos has been a while but a great location!

Different note, I feel more comfortable here asking you ladies and gentleman...

I need to start walking, I wont be able to do it everyday bc I work 3 days on and 4 days off but I need to walk to get use to it. Thanks to Hashimotos and
Addison disease my body is completely out of shape and weak. Do you think if I walk 3x a week starting next week that by the time Sept 7 rolls around Ill be ok to walk the parks? I really dont want a scooter..

Do any of you start walking to prepare for Disney Vacations? I never had to before I use to work out 3 to 5 times a week but that stopped 3 yrs ago when I started getting sick..Anyone have a walking plan they use?

I did order croc flip flops and asics tennis shoes to walk in at home and the park, I hope that will help lol
