Most of their bed types seem to be KING or TWIN- no queens or doubles. Does anyone have first hand info on this? I don't want to make a reservation for a room that says it sleeps three "adults" but only has two twin beds!
We had three adults. We had a king bed and ordered a roll away bed for the third adult (14 yo) for 50 Yen a night extra. I found that most hotels in Japan only had twins if you wanted two beds. We had plenty of space and there was also a small chaise in the room also. You can barely see the edge of the roll away bed on the right side of the photo. Plenty of room to walk in between the king and roll away.

I think we will try to call ahead or email them or something as the last thing we want is for them to be out of rollaways when we arrive- particularly since all three rooms we are booking will need one.
I don’t know about the bus, but if you’re flying into Narita you can take the NEX train to Tokyo station and then catch the train out to TDR from there.
We're headed to Tokyo Disney next month. Our plane lands at 3:20 pm. Any idea the odds of making the 6 pm bus to the resort, and if we don't, what other easy options?
Me again. I see that the three hotels we will be staying at have wifi. Should we also buy a wifi hotspot gadget before going? (I'm not very tech savvy, but my son with whom I'll be traveling is.) On the one hand it doesn't seem like we would have to have it, on the other hand I don't know if we're so conditioned to using our phones that we would be at a loss without easy access.
As long as your flight is on time, I'd say your chances are excellent (and it would probably be an earlier bus). The Japanese are very efficient.
Yes - for maps, train times/connections, translations, TDR wait times (unofficial English app, but I think the data is from Disney), etc. If you and your son might split up at all and need to communicate, I think mobile data only SIM cards would be better than a wifi hotspot. The b-mobile ones we got worked great, though they don't have the cheaper one we got anymore.
What about wearing Disney World or Disneyland t-shirts at Tokyo Disney? I have a few and I don't seem to wear graphic t-shirts anymore and am wondering about wearing them. On the one hand seems like a good ideas because I read that the Japanese really embrace the Disney spirit, on the other hand I don't know if it would be offensive or impolite (can't quite figure out the word I'm looking for) to wear a non Tokyo Disney shirt there. Thoughts?
I see no problem with it. I say go for it! Maybe it'll be a good conversation starter.
I finally applied for an ATM card but they say it will take two weeks -- too late! I know I can change dollars for yen at the Disney hotels, maybe not the best exchange rate, but it's a backup. Anyone know if they'll take hundred dollar bills?
Yes, they take $100 bills. We did it at DisneySea guest services and the rate was surprising quite good. I checked it on xe.com as I was in line. Could be a timing issue of when they set the rate. But seems they offer it as a courtesy, not to make money (unlike the Sheraton which had awful rates).

We rented a wifi hotspot from this place https://www.wi-ho.net/en/ ... there are many others. Incredibly worth it for maps, looking at menus, for the trains, etc. Worth every penny, pick up and drop off at the airport
Thanks for taking the time to reply. I'm writing from San Francisco airport, can't believe the trip is really here!!! Sounds like wifi hotspot is the way to go.
